Since it's the first snow of the winter (for where me and Bek are anyway), we thought we'd have a ficcing meme. We didn't wanna do one that was already done, so we came up with the Blanket Fic Meme: DCU Edition

Tam sighed in exasperation as she pulled an old, moth eaten blanket out of her linen closet. Tim looked up at the noise.
"Sorry," he said with a rueful smile, clutching the wound on his arm.
"You're bleeding on my floor," Tam stated bluntly.
Tim made an apologetic face and Tam rolled her eyes at him before tearing the blanket into thin strips. She crouched down next to Tim and carefully wrapped the sheets around the gash on Tim's arm. She tied them off hard, to stop the bleeding, and Tim didn't wince, but his expression shifted in a tiny way that Tam had come to recognize as his way of saying 'ouch'.
"You know, this wouldn't have been an issue if you kept a first aid kit in your house," Tim commented casually as he stood up and stretched out his arm, testing the makeshift bandages.
"I'm sorry, I didn't expect a crazy ninja assassin to climb in through my apartment window at four in the morning," Tam replied dryly.
"I'm not an assassin," Tim muttered under his breath but Tam clicked her tongue dismissively.
"The point is, you've spent the last minute bleeding all over my carpet while I tore up one of my blankets," Tam snapped, rubbing at her face.
Tim walked up to her and grabbed her hands, rubbing his thumbs across her wrists, "I'll buy you a new blanket."
Tam raised an eyebrow and looked pointedly at the floor.
"And a new carpet," Tim added with a resigned sigh.
"Good," Tam gripped his hands back, "now, are you coming to bed?"
Tim smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek, then rubbed his face against her throat, "mmmhmm."
"Come on then," Tam kissed his temple and pulled him towards the bed, chuckling a little as he tumbled face first into the mattress, "But if you bleed on my sheets I'm kicking you onto the floor."
Tim turned his head to look at her, "I love you too Tam."
Found this thanks to the new community! I just wanted to love on it a little. I like seeing Tim healing. Tam is good for things like that. You just know that girl's got really proficient with gauze wrap and tape by now.
