Yo, people that visit Portland!
This primarily refers to squirrelboy but since he never pays attention I guess I'm SOL without my one magnificent resource *tear*
I'm planning a trip to Portland...and I'm trying really hard not to do a lot of geeky things but I can't help it. I'd like to go to Jimmy Macs (jazz club), there's a Cirque de Sol down there, and there's the art meuseum which I have hope will spark something in me.
Knowing the NW I'm trying to plan things that are inside. I know there's wine tasting (which is why I'm going in the first place) but I'm afraid of two things: transportation and hotels. I think because I'd rather not drive all over Portland paying each time I park, and secondly hotels are bloody expensive and I want one that's close to the wine tasting so walk there and walk back.
So, other than those two things can anyone think of anything fun to do. I might as well have some fun down there because it's impossible to leave Portland.
P.S. Anyone hear anymore news about Microsoft/Yahoo love fest?
