DEATH VALLEY!!!!!
FOR FOUR WEEKS!!!!
I'm actually really really REALLY excited about this. It might not be the prettiest of places, but the challenge of the "hottest, driest, and lowest spot in North America" (although they do have a 11,049 ft peak that I'd be climbing) is incredibly intriguing. Plus, not everyone can say, "Dur hur hur I spent four weeks in DEATH VALLEY, biznotch." Unfortunately, the various constraints (time, money, emotional parents, emotional self) of the whole "last-summer-before-college" situation make me doubt whether it will all work out.
edit: just kidding, guys. Things conspired against the SCA this year, so I'll be basking in the glory of Bethlehem more often this summer. TTFN, SCA. Don't die.
