Summary: Kei wanders into the forest of Leafunia with a mission to save Shin's hat from the river. He happens on to Sasame and there is an exchange of words as to why Sasame has been avoiding the Leafe Knights and the Pretear. COMPLETED.

Sasame’s face was devoid of emotion as he chose not to respond, at least right away. There was a ring of truth in Kei’s words, something he simply couldn’t deny.

What was the Pretear without her ears? Probably better off without me…

Sasame frowned at his own thoughts. When had his heart turned so cold? Was it before Takako, before she had turned into Fenrir? Was it when Hayate met Himeno and his reaction to the bright life within her?

Visibly upset and agitated with himself and at Kei for so bluntly putting the truth, Sasame’s eyes went to the sky as he looked to the heavens for some kind of answer.

The sky in Leafunia was as clear as a flawless diamond. There was nothing but pure, azure atmosphere floating aimlessly above him. But the wind…

It beckoned to him…

Slowly he lifted his fingers to his lips and requested command of sound once more. Effortlessly he blew a sonic arrow, trusting that Kei knew what he was talking about…

The arrow thrashed through the forest tearing whatever vegetation growing nearby to nearly be pulled out by their roots…

Sasame looked shocked. “Did Himeno truly heal me?”
