novel translation
Hi!
Spamming again. I know, it's been a (relatively) long time since I last posted something. I've been working on my fanfics and they are progressing, but I've ben busy lately. My semester has started and I find like I have to write ten mails in a day. Also, the day D is coming dangerously close when I'll be cosplaying Shinpachi. I'm mostly finished with my costume, but I've been very busy with it for the past two weeks.
To relax myself and maybe find some interesting merchandise I could buy, I have been browsing toranoana and c-queen, when I came across this and this. The first thought that struck through my head: I WANT THIS!!! So I clicked on it, to check out the sample pages, when I saw it. Black on white, it was there, crushing my hopes of ever obtaining a Shiranui/Sano doujinshi: This beautiful piece of art, one would expect to find on an exclusive and rare doujinshi, is a novel.
My problem?
I can't read kanji.
I'm sure you're aksing yourself: "Then why the hell do you buy doujinshi?" Because, I've got pictures to compensate it. Yes, laugh at me. Besides, my BF studies japanese major, so there's hope for translation in the future. I can wait for that long if I have something to look at. But what am I supposed to do with a novel?...Stare at the cover. (And looking at those, I would be perfectly capable to do that, but that's not the point now.)
So, disappointed with the world, I closed the site and went to sleep.
Only, I couldn't.
I keep thinking of those novels, day and night and I kinda feel myself needing them. It might be my horniness, fangirlness and general insnaity speaking, but I need them as I need the air that I breath. Yes, you still may laugh.
And my mind came up with an ingenious plan. (And now is the time you should turn around and run, or worry, if you don't.)
I'll ask if someone would be willing to translate it, if I purchased it and provided the raw?
If not...well, either I live with it, or hang myself. (Kidding. Hopefully.)
But seriously guys, would any of you be willing to help me? Offer a little of their free time? Of course I would put the translation (properly credited) online for the other fans of this pairing to read too.
What do you get out of it?
Well, you get to read two great novels, surely.
And a continuation of my fics, since I won't get suicidal.
