you're probably just jealous because this title is cooler than you/did your girlfriend last night
this makes me laugh. and then i get kind of sad, because it kind of reminds me of my life, which is a dark abyss.
...Except it totally isn't. What do I look like, Hamlet Prince of Denmark? :P
So I was cleaning and putting clothes away and putting my books on the shelves (I know, blasphemy!) and I found some Pokemon cards. So I was all, Great, now I have to put these away. And being me, they have to be in order. By series; i.e., Base set -> Jungle -> Fossil -> Gym Leader, ect. Then they have to be in order by type of card; i.e., trainer -> Pokemon -> energy. Then they have to be in order by rarity. UNLESS they're a holo, in which case they go in the back, but they still have to go in order by series.
I'm kind of OCD with my Pokemon cards. Just in case that wasn't immediately apparent. But anyway. The ones I found were the Neo 1 series....which were next to last. So I had to move all the ones from Neo 2. So I was doing that and I saw that I had like four fucking Mareeps. Then I started thinking: Mareep? What the hell?
Mareep. I get the "-eep" part. It's like sheep. Then where does the "Mar-" part come from?
Marvelous?
Marigold?
Margerine?
Mar....gic?
Exactly! Wtf.
Then I found out I had two Ancient Mew cards and I got really excited. Then I remembered that I wasn't 11 anymore and got kind of sad. :P
Oh, hold on, Liam just told me a joke.

So anyway. In my mind Pokemon cards link back to the Pokemon TCG...thing. Tournament club thing at Toy's R Us on Saturday mornings back in the day. Which leads back to me being a dumbass, aka that time when I dated Brian, which makes me want to bang my head against a wall and/or say "fuck" a lot. I may or may not have taken this frustration out on Mareep. What can I say, who better to victimize than an electrical sheep with an infuriating name? :P
So remember Nintendo 64? Good times. I always wanted one of the blue ones. They were cool.
So last night. I was like, "oh, wtf is that light flashing? There must be a drunk driving check point on the circle or something." But no, no, it was lightning. I figured that out when there was the THUNDER OF DOOOOOOOM that lasted for like five minutes. Pretty intense stuff. C:
