I had my first THON experience tonight. :)
I didn't mean to stay long, maybe see the beginning then come back by 730. I learned the line dance, searched in vain for my fellow equestrian team members, wound up hanging out with Tyler around 8, then went over to visit the EMS people at like 945, planning on leaving by 10. Wound up staying till 12. I just didn't want to leave! Sure, it's just a lot of standing. Sure, I'm exhausted. But something about it. I can't even really explain. I don't even get it really and I sure most of you reading this don't even know what THON is. I guess it just makes me really proud to be a Penn Stater. It is a blend of strange, irrational and sentimental feelings.
