I'm a terrible daughter. :/ Just getting that out of the way.
So, Penn State runs this ORION-summer-run-around-in-the-woods-with-other-new-freshman-for-four-days thing and I think it'd be fun. But then there's my missing-home-where'd-my-summer-go-phobia that would possibly happen should I decide to go. I wouldn't want to do the last one on August like...18-23 because uhhh everyone is leaving and I want to see them like as long as possible before we all....go our separate ways...(fuck, this is depressing) plus I think I'd like to just hang around home for those last couple days getting all my stuff in order and spending time with my cat. I mean my family. So there's 2 more, July 21-26 and August 11-16. I'm debating, I dunno. It'd be fun right? Butttt then there's that whole 'hmmm, never actually been camping' thing. Plus I really need to get a job. And I'd have to decide soon cause apparently it fills up fast, plus I have to take into consideration that'd it be another like 2 days one of my parents would have to take off to drive me up to State College. And it's $195 which I personally won't have any time soon, between prom and being an unemployed lame ass.
But still. I'd be cool. There could be bears. Bears are effing rad.
And it's 2 credits!
But there's a paper and a journal involved, supposedly. (WTF doing work in college?? what kind of world is this? haha)
If not I'm just going to have to go hiking in the summer with my friends.
So watch out you guys. :P
34 more days till graduation! And 98 days till move-in day. That's less than 100. That's only 2 numbers. Holy crap.
I'm writing my senior paper on Kurt Vonnegut. Here's a good reason why:
"One of the few good things about modern times: If you die horribly on television, you will not have died in vain. You will have entertained us."
"True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country. "
