"So Katie! You haven't updated your journal in a while! SURELY THIS MUST MEAN YOU'RE BUSY AND INDUSTRIOUS AND HAVE A LIFE! Won't you update us on it!" - everyone ever, obviously

Oh well of course raving audience! However could I deprive you! That would be so unfair of me. So here goes.

On the things that come in the mail front, we haveeee!:

Oh sorry, is this old news? Yeah, maybe I do just like to look at it and get all excited. SO WHAT.

Other college news has been rolling in, in the form of wait listing!

Mmmm I love the smell of loosely veiled rejection in the evening! Which is in all honesty completely true, because I don't really want to go to either of these places and just gets me that much closer to FINALLY BEING ABLE TO SEND IN MY ACCEPTANCE thank you very much, parents who want me to wait! NO. NO I SAY. Are we ever going to have this serious discussion about costs?? I'm WAITING!
Speaking of costs, behold my art school financial aid arithmetic.

There's a list of tuitions with housing costs for each building/room type on the back and my dad was like, "Look how much money you could save by commuting!" and I was like "First, don't want to go here anymore. Second, if I did, you would be completely insane to think that I would spend any more time in this house full of insanity than I have to. It'd be like SORRY LIVING ON CAMPUS K BYE."
And in not college related news:

EEEEEE :D LOOK OUT DEMOCRACY HERE I COME.

In a completely unrelated vein, I saw this on Photobucket whist uploading and had to share.

(I totally didn't edit it or anything.)
Oh and after I looked at it I realized that these screennames are totally applicable to me and Aud LOLZZZ. Stop meeting people on the internet if you're not even going to get me any, you jerk. :P

Otherwise, today was a pretty cool day. It started when I woke up this morning and was fully awake at 630, despite being up till like 1215. This of course did not stop me from collecting my extra 15 minutes of carefully timed sleep. Got dressed, etc., grabbed the last banana in my house (we had like 8 yesterday morning. WHERE DO THEY GO??), put the top up and bolted out of the garage at 708. Observed the difference between leaving at 705 and 708, which involves at least 8 more minutes of sitting in traffic on West Park. I don't know how it happens. But yes, it has taken me about 10 minutes to move 2/10th of a mile before in front of the school. Stupid, stupid school and traffic and such.
Went to art. Hung out with my feet up on the table talking to Stasia and playing with a magic 8 ball we found. ("Oh magic 8 ball, am I going...to...get some this weekend?" "SIGNS POINT TO YES" "Wooo!" "Magic 8 ball, am I going to get laid this weekend?" "WITHOUT A DOUBT" "All right this weekend's gonna rule." "Ask something else!" "Magic 8 ball, will my life be worth it in the end?" "MY SOURCES SAY NO" "....Are your sources reliable?" "ASK AGAIN LATER" "....Are they??" "*8 ball is all bubbly inside and the cube-y thing is stuck on a corner*" "...I think you pissed it off.") Then we made plans to hit Panera post-school.
Homeroom involved a sub for Mrs. Reese (the 40 year old virgin, no less) and a discussion about...nipple rope. Yes, homeroom does sometimes wind up giving me numerous emotional scars.
In physics we learned about the exciting world of the doppler shift. Oooooh and ahhhh.
Yoga = substitute = progressive relaxation, aka NAP TIME. Slept with my phone on my face and was rudely and awkwardly awakened by my lips vibrating loudly. Thanks, girl.
History involved a really intense test on chapter 32. I got frustrated because I couldn't remember the Democratic presidential nominee in 1968 (AAAGH HUBERT HUMPHREY FUCK YOU) or Jimmy Carter's vice president (Walter Mondale? Glad that was never ever mentioned agh why don't they have Wikipedia in desks).
Upon walking into English JT went "KATIE MOORE!" and I was like, uhhh hey.
JT: "Did you guys ever watch that show like...'Welcome to Tool Time'?"
KT: "Tool Time? ...You mean Home Improvement?"
JT: "Yeah. Home Improvement. That's what this high school is like. TOOL TIME."
KT: "...Wow. Someone seems a little bitter today."
Then we started watching A Streetcar Named Desire. I smiled over Vivien Leigh.
And then THERE WAS BRANDO. And lo the Lord looked upon his chiseled, sweaty, shirtless creation and saw that it was good.
All girls in class: AHHHH OMG OMG LOOK LOOK AT HIM AHHH OMG SO HOT
JT: WE CAN'T HAVE DISTRACTIONS IN HERE PLEASE
Girls: MARLON BRANDO IS OUR DISTRACTION STOP TALKING WE ARE LOOKING AT HIM THANKS

AHHH.

Boys, if you ever piss a girl off, all you really need to do is stand outside her house sopping wet with your shirt half ripped off yelling her name in an adorably obnoxious way while making vulnerable, emotional faces. No, seriously. Every girl in the class was like "Yeah uh I totally wouldn't care if Marlon Brando beat the shit out of me if we were gonna get makey-outey on the stairs afterward."
Ahem.
Chorus was boring. Lunch was boring. There was pudding for the second day in a row, which I guess is cool.
French involved a test where I understood absolutely nothing, lol. Good thing the obnoxious sophomores make me lose any desire to try and pay attention by not letting Mme Barone ever teach anything. Then they whine about how they don't know what we're being tested on and I want to punch all of them. Yup.
For once Precalc was pretty uneventful. We took a quiz on the unit circle, and then on shit you do using the unit circle. Mrs. Johnson did something with calculators and inverse sines and cosines and tangents and secants and cosecants and cotangents and I did some marvelous doodles involving bad news bears. Yeah.

Then it was time for Panera, after a quick run home to get the blue ghetto van (and an outburst of "Ridin' Dirty"). More details can be seen in the pictures I just put on Facebook; if you don't have one, well you're beat and should get one. Then it was off to Wegmans to solve the mystery of watermelon stripes. lol. Then I brought Mike and Yuri home and have been here. Pretty much an all-around excellent day.

ONE MORE DAY TILL BREAK AHHHHH.

afterglow, friends, panera trip, pictures, college, acceptances, lol, school, fun times, random
