Welp, I'm back.

It's great to be back and seeing everyone. (If you're reading this, please tell me which rooms you live in [possibly through e-mail or a messaging system] so I can come bother visit you!) :D 'Twas an uneventful summer, but a good one. Mostly just been watching and waiting for games. Planning on getting a PS3 Slim eventually, for FFXIII and...other games. Which definitely do not involve prettied-up versions of famous ancient generals. No sirree.

Games Update:
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 Izayoiki Aizouban: Finished both of Kurou's paths, and I must say that his Izayoiki ending is pretty funny, inasmuch as it draws on the legend that Yoshitsune did not commit seppuku but instead escaped to Mongolia, where he became known as Genghis Khan. Yeah, really. It was decently awesome. So now I'm off to get either Kagetoki or Benkei, after which I'll try to get Saku's ending so she can be happy again. OH and Unmei no Meikyuu (to which I'm quite looking forward) is coming out for the PSP this October. As is...

...A remake/port of Persona 3 FES, with the option to choose a female main character, with Social Links and even Igor's assistant changing appropriately. *Glee!* I wish they'd chosen to remake P4 instead (or, y'know, develop a new Persona), but hey, getting to date the guys (or rather, Junpei) and finally being able to CONTROL YOUR DAMN PARTY MEMBERS easily justify a pre-order.

Warriors Orochi 2 is having some release issues, as KOEI seem to have decided releasing it on the same day as Dissidia was a terrible plan. Of course, they didn't announce anything, not even on the day WO2 was supposed to be released and wasn't. Bastards. Still, the MOZ content and dual-language option are too tempting to pass up. I know, I am ashamed.

SCREW YOU KOEI, YOU MADE MR. BUNNYEARS BUREAUCRAT INTO SAN FROM MONONOKE HIME. AND THEN YOU MADE OLD MAN UJIYASU HOT. WHAT THE HELL.

I will probably get both versions of Dissidia eventually. I know I have a Japanese copy on its way, but as they've apparently added quite a decent amount of content for the NA release, I have to put that on my wish list. :/ It's sad that I'd forgotten how much I love this series and why. Makes me want to go back and play V-IX and X-2 all over again. Butz (who is MINE :3) is AMAZING in this game so far. He's thick as a damn brick (about villians who'd just discussed their eeevil plans well within earshot: "I wonder what they're talking about? ^____^" as well as the LOOK AT MY SHINY ISN'T IT AWESOME!???1!!111 moment which gets Zidane kidnaped. O_o), but he's also adorable, fast and super versatile. Just my type. :3
EDIT: Nevermind, I've got the NA version. Didn't take long for me to give in... THIS BODES NOT WELL.

Seiyuu of note in Dissidia:
Wakamoto goshdurn Norio as Chaos (AKA DAIROKUTENMAOU, ODA NOBUNAGA as well as lots of other awesome crazy people)
Hoshi Souichirou as Butz (also played: Star Ocean 3's MC Fate Linegod, Sengoku BASARA's Sanada Yukimura, Taira no Atsumori in Harutoki 3, and Keele Zeibel from Tales of Eternia)
Ishikawa Hideo as Squall (also played, and I'm serious: Sengoku Musou 2's Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Yes, the tiny squeaky flirtatious one. He was also the single most redemptive aspect of FFX, Auron.)
Midorikawa Hikaru as Firion (also played: Akechi Mitsuhide in both the Sengoku Musou series and Kessen 3, Sanada Akihiko in Persona 3, Leon Magnus in Tales of Destiny, and Marth in SSBB)
Morita Masakazu as Tidus (ugh, but he was also Claire Stanfield AKA Vino in Baccano! as well as Maeda Keiji in SB and Pang De in SSM4)
Lots of awesome seiyuu involved.

Jiang Wei Gundam will FINALLY be released in October, with a much nicer redesign, just after the double-whammy of Sanada Yukimura and ODA NOBUNAGA. X33333

jrpgs, harutoki 3, video games, koei and omega force are bastards, sengoku, gunpla, shut up boyue is fucking win, musou, otome games, atlus, sanguo
