It's wrong because 1) it's incest and 2) you're married. You pledged yourself to Lady Yunalesca, didn't you? Then that means you're supposed to belong to her, body and soul. The love between a mother and son is a pure thing, not to be tainted with carnal relations.

So what if it's incest? I love her! Ever since I was made, I searched for her, and I was finally able to be with her, and Rufus has to go and spoil everything!

As for Yunalesca... we're not married. Not yet. I haven't been unfaithful to her. I just came back to Gaia to get revenge for what Rufus did, and she can't understand that.

What really matters now is that you are a father and you have children. Your responsibility as a parent entails that you love them more than your mother, more than Lady Yunalesca, even more than yourself. That's what it means to be a good parent.

I told Yunalesca that I had something to do and that I'd be back in a few days, yet somehow she's taken that to mean that I hate her and never want to see the children again, and that it's now okay for her to jump into bed with Sephiroth.
