This Saturday and Sunday was the Animate Girl's Festival 2010 in Ikebukuro Sunshine City.
I went both days :D
On Saturday, I went for the autograph session of Nekota Yonezou-sensei's for "Hidoku Shinaide 2" manga!
She was a lovely person!
Pretty tall, and wearing boots, tight jeans, and a leatherish jacket.
Her hair was short but styled nicely and she had on greenish eyeshadow XD
And she had such a bright smile!
Her laughter was contagious <3
She signed about 50 books, probably and shook everyone's hands in turn.
I was nervous when it was my turn to go up, but her smile just made me smile back.
A photo below of the signed page (but covering my name XD)
Today (sunday) I went to pick up the book I won in the drawing.
The book was Nakamura Shungiku's "Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi".
Unfortunately, sensei wasn't there herself, but the signed books were very limited and I felt very lucky to have won it!
Then right after I picked up the book, a different line began to assemble at the same booth and out of curiosity, I asked someone what it was for and they said it was for Fujisaki Miyako-sensei's signed copy of "Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi" NOVELS and she was gonna be there in PERSON to hand it to each!!
And what else is more, it was first come first serve, and available to anyone!!
I lined up and ended up like, 10th in line T0T
I felt so fortunate, yet again.
Fujisaki-sensei's train was a bit late, so the session started about 15 minutes later than planned.
But we were able to choose from 5 different books of hers.
I chose "Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi ~Yoshino Chiaki no baai~ vol.1"
Fujisaki-sensei was shy-looking with glasses and shoulder length hair.
She was so nice and soft-spoken!
Mangakas and Novelists are so nice in person... T_T
