Movements of Life (Journal Entry #2)

Damn, it took a bit longer to get this written as I left my damn journal at Val's place.
You know there is something to be said for just living in the moment and to hell with the consequences that the rest of the world will bring to bare. That's what I'm doing right now. I sure as fuck know I've not exactly used my brian in the smartest capasity. Oh good god. Is is possible to go from virgin to slut in the span of just a couple of days? Seriously. Val and I have gone at it a few times. I've ended up with Ex on a beach and a hotel.
Fun. Fuck Yes.
Regrets. Fuck No.
Smartest thing for my ass to do? Verdict Fucking Pending.
And then there is still Paige. I still care about her and for while there I thought she considered me a scumbag and a liar; then I get this email asking to talk and that she wants me to take her back. *headdesk* I can't do this. I just don't have the ability to handle the emotional baggage she beats me with. Plus, sure she says she wants me to take her back but how long is that gonna last when she finds out since our break up I've had sex at least half a dozen times. All I picture is the Hiroshima blast in my face when that tidbit comes out.
Maybe I'm just a selfish asshole. But I have promises, duties, and responsibilities to myself and others that I will not forsake on someone that is really starting to set of my baser nature with bright flashing signals of "prey!" Not a good thing. I'll talk to her but somehow I just don't see it ending well.
On the plus side of things. I think I've managed to get things in place for me to be in school in the fall, even cleared it with the Hierarch in Orlando; didn't realize it was Gyspy. Might see about meeting her in advance; seem like a pretty kewl person. Though I do have another Lex to memorize, joys.
What else? AC Thrusday, probably Vitrea getting fully confirmed as Heirarch. OKC on Friday. That's gonna be fun (note the eyeroll).
