I'm currently on spring break right now which is so freaking AWESOME! No school or work for the next week!
It's been a hectic these past few weeks, I've made two trips to Huntsville to take care of some business, and been working at school, in addition to doing work for class. I had been working on this project for freeman-asia that was due last

I don't like to comment on LJ as I don't have an LJ account (I feel awkward) but I really wanted to comment this article. I'm thinking of creating an account too.
I totally agree with what you said on Korean and Japanese music. There's maybe nothing left to say...I'll add that I like listening to good quality music and I find it hard to find albums of great artists on the net (well, I buy them later when I have money^^). I just get bored when I listen to BoA, etc.
I really enjoy listening to singers like Wheesung, and others you already mentionned (Tasha rules ;D)...It was amazing for me to find out singers like Mahya (good soul music, even though her voice isn't strong), Miss Monday (reggae/pop), Jazztronic (electro/pop), Clazziquai (electro/groove/pop)...and it almost makes me disappointed (or lonely lol) when I introduce them on forums and that people there don't even care or give a try on their music. These girls only care about their cute teen idols...And yeah, by the way, I think that the idols bands don't really do music with their soul, they just seem too young to bring something deep, personnal and new on the music market.
And I think that unlike idols bands, Wheesung'music (for example) doesn't get old, I mean I can listen to his songs for years, whereas I just forget mainstream songs after a month or two.
K-pop and j-pop are going nowhere, true...this is why I'm looking for Malay, Brazilian or African music, and more.
Argg, what a long comment >_>
