Oh my MAX. Little girls in London...suck. Get this, one of my friends had to do Jury duty in court and her case was of a 14 year old girl, who skipped school without her mother knowing one morning. Her mother was phoned by the school later to make an arrangement for her, and parents of another girl she was having problems with to meet up, and they mentioned that they hoped she felt better. The mother ofcourse was like "wtf?" (bear in mind she is from Edmonton, so it would be wtf and not excuse me) and the school said that she phoned in sick that morning. So the mother went home and found her. What did the girl do? Did she;
(a) Tell the mother she was actually sick and had to go home
(b) Tell the truth like a decent human being
(c) Invent some elaborate story of abduction and rape, blaming the father of a school friend she disliked.
If you guessed (c) you would be right. The guy was imprisoned for 5 months prior to the case. He never did it, the evidence was soooooo obvious. When he was told he was innocent, he, a grown man, burst in to floods of tears. The girl was like "Pff, whatever."
People really make me sick sometimes. Not as sick as Jane Ashers beanie cake though D:
Seeing as i'm in the moaning mood, a few days ago i bought this kewl pendant. Its like a glass oblong shard, with a cross inside it and its red at the top, yellow in the middle and blue at the bottom. I heart it very much, and okay, i'll admit it 'does' look a little gay, but then i'm bi so im allowed my gay pride moments now and again but since ive been wearing it I have been checked out, asked out and taunted by guys. I dont get it? Are people not allowed to wear tri-coloured pendants these days? In the year of the hippie i'd be like, the coolest thing since nudity with that thing. I dont really care about the checking or asking out, but the taunting pissed me off a bit. As someone who cares about PEOPLE and not their gender, it baffles me as to why, in this day and age we have so many people that take negative attitudes towards it. Like "They can do whatever they like aslong as its not infront of me". This is supposed to be a healthy attitude? Sorry, but thats totally antisocial. And we are judged for every little thing we do! Men that wear pink shirts, men that have high pitched voices, boys that wear tri-colored pendants ¬_¬ and they grab your hand and brand it with a big, burning brander stamp saying GAY. Normally i'd blame this on just being a London thing, but i'm sure it isnt. I dont care about being called gay, even if its not acurate, but im getting fed up with the way its used. When i'm king of the world this is seriously gonna change people!
On a lighter note, I think my japanese class starts in a week and a half!! I'm not really nervous about 'that' but I am nervous as to the fact that I have never been to that college before and have an inept ability to get myself lost in anything. Supermarkets, streets, empty rooms. I'm useless ;_; and seriously dreading that part. I wonder if anyone else there will know Ayu? If not, i'm sure Bonnie will give me cookies if i introduce them to Ayu's songs. >:O *salutes* Ayu Agent Ad! I wonder if i make an i.d card with that name if i can get it lamenated?
Well, i'm bored. Think im gonna go commenting/adding.
