Summary: Parenting, its hard when your young and don’t fit the demographic, its even worse when your both male, with celebrity careers and two healthy 5 year old twins that learn a little to much from their three uncles that mean well.
Chapter 4
The quiet was so heavy it hung on the air and Yoochun swore he could cut the tension with a knife.
"Well Yoochun?" Junsu asked again, tired of waiting.
"Well what?" Yoochun tried to stall. He looked cool as a cucumber on the outside, but on the inside he was having three heart attacks at the same time, how on earth did this even happen?
"Yoochun, seriously, what happened?" Junsu looked serious very serious, the kind of serious he usually reserved for moments like when they used to do lives and when he preformed, and that was not a good thing at this time and place. Because Yoochun really didn't have a death wish no matter what anyone said about that.. especially by Junsus hands.
"Hun," He began and then stopped, he had nothing else to say.
"Yes Chunnie?" And Yoochun looked around the room and everyone else was staring at them including the kids.
"The kids are in the room still."
Junsus face was less than pleased but he yielded to Yoochun and just turned around and picked up Min-Yoo as Min-Su grabbed his leg.
"So, how was your day today?" He squished Min-Yoos face close to his blowing a raspberry on the tiny ones cheek, and picked up Min-Su who clung to his neck like a little leech.
"Went to school, appa bring us home, and appa got in touble with the teacher and…and…and…we watched tv with appa, and…and.." and Min-Yoo closed his eyes trying to think real hard about what else they had done. And finally he opened his eyes and stared at Min-su first for a bit before he decided his final answer. "And you came home."
For the most part, Junsu just wanted to squish them for being so adorable but before that he had to ask them one small question.
"Is that it?"
And both his two little monsters looked at each other again and just nodded.
"mhm."
"Nothing else?" he asked them again. After all he knew better.
"mm…no" Min-Su said real quite like.
"Nothing at all?" Junsu probed.
And the two looked at him a little guilty. And it tugged at Junsus heart, but he knew he had to get them to tell him, it was his job, he was the parent…but they looked so tiny and they were and it was ok right? It was just a small little lie, which wasn't really a lie, it was just omitting a little of their day…right? He wasn't being a bad parent, right?
"We got in touble…." Min-Yoo said softly after a few seconds, and Min-Su just dug his face inside the crook of his neck, sniffling a little.
"Oh?" He asked as casually as he could. "You wanna tell appa about it?"
The two looked at each other again, and Junsu suddenly knew just how his mother and father probably felt about him and Junho when they were babies and communicated in their own little wave length, he did not like it.
"No." they both said in unison. Junsu felt like smashing his face against the wall.
"Ok. But you both know your going to have to tell me about it soon right?" he asked while sitting them both on Min-Su's bed. The two looked at each other again and seriously Junsu thought he should call his mom and beg for forgiveness for doing that with Junho years ago.
"Ok." and they looked at him with real wide eyes and big smiles. He knew what that meant.
"No dessert before dinner." he bent down and kissed both their foreheads.
"But…" They said at the same time sad faces met his eyes and he rolled his.
"You know the rules."
"Fine…" and both their cheeks puffed out in disappointment. He either was a great parent, a bad parent or just a sucker for his two monsters.
"Look, how about I make you a deal?" and immediately the two perked up.
"You two other cousins are more than likely going to come home, and I promise you will get pie and ice-cream after dinner with them. Hows that sound?" Their faces fell a little and again they did that twin telepathy thing and seemed to come into agreement.
"K…but can we watch big people TV then?" Seriously? Big people Tv? He was going to kill Yoochun, after all this had his handy work written all over it.
"What big people TV?" He asked cautiously.
"The one that Young-Soo and Jae-Hwan watches when Uncle Jae and Yunho go to work and the lady that watches them goes to bed. They said it was funny but only big people are supposed to watch it." Junsu was not happy, he told Yunho, and Jaejoong had told Yunho that their current nanny was a no go.
The first time she had shown up for the interview Jaejoong hyung had told Yunho no, but noooo Yunho had to have his way and now look…Yunho-hyungs ass is going to be toast once Jaejoong heard about this.
"We will see," he finally said and again their faces fell, but this time Junsu wasn't going to budge. He had no idea what his little nephews had been watching and usually he and Yoochun weren't that strict but this time, he had to be.
"Big people TV and the nanny isn't watching them as close as she first claimed…Jaejoong is going to go batshit crazy." Changmins voice made Junsu jump a little and the two giggled when he said batshit.
"Changmin. May I help you?" Junsu asked.
"You left my little tyke here, alone in the living room, made him sad." and he pushed the other in who clambered and climbed on the bed between the two twins smiling really big.
"Right, well, how about for now you guys watch Lion King, until the other two come by?" he offered and again the two shared a look while the youngest looked toward his dad his eyes pleading.
Junsu looked at Changmin who heaved a sigh.
"How about Hamtaro?" When Junsu raised an eye brow in question Changmin just rolled his eyes.
"He likes Sleepy(thats a hamster on the show)," and he motioned with his head toward his little minnie me.
"Oh. Well then. How about it you two? Feel like making your YOUNGER cousin happy?" and he enunciated ,the word younger, knowing full well the two would cave in.
He had figured out long ago they both liked acting older than they were, like their other two cousins, who apparently were about to be grounded for life pretty soon.
They both nodded and after turning on Hamtaro and making sure the three were tucked in in Min-Su's bed they left, leaving the door open a crack so that they could still keep an eye on the three from across the living room.
When the two reached the living room, Yoochun was on the sofa and Jaejoong was messing around the kitchen with nothing in particular just putting things here, moving things there, re-arranging the kitchen plates and fixing the mugs,basically nothing at all.
And all this told Junsu was that what ever happened at school he was not going to like it and more than likely, to use Changmins earlier word, Junsu was going to go batshit crazy.
He caught Yoochuns eyes and his shoulders fell, this definitely was not going to be fun.
"How bad?"
"Somewhere between finding out that the store is out of the kids favorite jam and death." Yoochun replied.
Junsu made a face at him.
"Thats a pretty big gap."
"Im trying to soften the blow."
"Yoochun…"
"Ok, fine," and Yoochun heaved a sigh, Junsu just took a seat across from him and from the corner of his eye he saw Jaejoong slowly making his way out of the kitchen.
Great this was so not going to go well, and just as Yoochun was about to start the door bell rang.
"Oh, that must be Yunnie and the boys." and Jaejoong just walked passed them, to the door.
"Big people TV." Changmin said and Yoochun turned to him in question.
"What?"
"Jaejoong Hyung is about to go crazy and kill his kids current nanny and more than likely maim Yunho." and he leaned back on the lazy chair.
"What?" And this time Yoochun turned to Junsu hoping that at least his baby-boo would help .
"Our kids wanted to watch big people TV just like Jae-Hawn and Young-Soo. The lady that watches them lets them watch whatever they want." Junsu said, and Yoochuns eyes got real big and he smiled.
The gods were smiling at him, he wasn't going to be the only one sleeping in the dog house tonight.
"Stop smiling, your still in hot water." but none the less even Junsu joined the other two in grinning like the cat the swallowed the cannery.
