An unexpectable meeting
She was wondering down the beach of the azure sea. The waves, that lost their power due to the meeting with the shore, were gently kissing her bare feet. The shoes were hanging down from the fingers of her left hand. A naughty night wind was playing with wet blond hair. A dress, a little too light for such a cold night, tried to heat up her fragile body. Why did she choose to wear a dress anyway?
She trailed her hand through still wet hair and carried the gaze of her honey eyes to the horizon line; behind which the first shy rays of the sun could be seen. The night passed by unnoticeably. She didn’t want to come back home, though there was no home any more. As well as there was no family left. The only place where she could feel herself needed was..this shore, each sand of which she managed to explore during these long years; this sea that has always shared its warmth and coldness, the rays of the sunset that reminded of her inner self. Every time she comes here, all the problems went to the back ground of this sandy world.
She went down the shore slowly, enjoying its chilling laughter. For a moment, she closed her eyes and carefully embraced herself by the shoulders. It seemed that the wind itself was gently hugging her. The loneliness was good enough for her. She didn’t want anyone. Those things that she could feel inhaling the wet sea air, that feeling of freedom like flying above the ocean, nothing could be compared to that. She could understand herself only being alone. Understand that she is…unbearably lonely. Sadness filled her still young, full of power to feel…to love, but already injured with past and not healed with present, heart. Only now she felt the coldness of the night that was making its way to the dawn smoothly.
She opened her eyes slowly. Her gaze fell on her bare feet. At this moment she felt someone’s presence. Immediately, without any other thought, she looked up and her eyes met so familiar yet so distant gaze of his ruby-like orbs. His lips whispered softly breaking the melody of the singing sea.

Well, this one came to me while I was listening to the song “I totally miss you” by Bad Boys Blue. This is a wonderful song. I don’t know what about you guys but as far as I’m concerned, I feel butterflies in the stomach when listening to it. And the beta version was in Russian so I spent some time translating it into English.
So, the fic is quit angsty. More than that it has lots of grammatical and lexical mistakes, and I beg you guys, help me to improve my English V.V If you only knew how grateful I would be if you give me your helping hands.
Well, now what comes to this ficcie.
1) I really don’t know why Cagalli sd so upset with her life. Well, maybe she lost her home, her country, family and her beloved Athurun.. that she changed her place of living and went abroad.
2) So…maybe Athurun isn’t dead. He had just betrayed her in some way. It’s not necessary Meyrin! I don’t like the idea A/M. Maybe he has been claimed MIA (missed in action or smth like that).
3) Kira…our dear brother Kira…well from the beginning I thought that it will be Kira, who would find her on that beach. But than I changed my mind. I love the siblings relations but in this situation I wanted to show that she is really needed not like a sister, but like a girl, a beloved woman. So ‘the hero’ is Shinn now.
4) If to be honest, I became interested in this couple after reading cloudedge’s fanfic “Improvisions” at FF.net. That is it. I liked it a lot and than I found this community. Thank you! ^^
5) Why Shinn?? Because this community detected to Shinn/Cagalli ^^ But this is not the only reason. I love Shinn/Luna pairing, but here I wanted to show that Shinn could be caring. He is! We all know it. And the other reason is that Luna doesn’t fit this role well. She is more optimistic. (Oh, yeah. If anyone of you knows where I can find good fics on S/L tell me, please *.*).
6) Shinn and Cagalli are like two different sides of the moon. They can’t meet each other but they are the single whole. The same goes to S/C. They somehow refuse to admit that they are similar persons and try to avoid showing their similarity. Yet, they can’t show the difference for 100%.
7) Listening to music is a good thing!! ^^
