(no subject)
So next weekend is the 2nd Annual Midsummer Mass Hangout up near Binghamton. I'm quite excited to go and see everyone (Mostly Troy). The boy and I will be getting a nice little hotel room up by Albany, and then we'll drive over together. I'm really, really excited. I just hope he won't have jury duty on the Monday after and I can spend one more night with him. Then I'll hopefully see him again on Aug 15th, so we can Ren Faire it up. Yessss...
Otherwise, I've been quite content. Just been doing some things, seeing D and the girlies for our Mario party Day. Ya know. (Of course the Dream Team won. Haha. We'll have to play the old ones next time.) but I hope to see them one more time before school. Maybe we'll all take a trip to see Dee in Brooklyn? That be pretty effin' awesome. I just wish I had more hours at work. Ugh. Can't wait to go back to school.
I didn't get the TA position due to College Policy overriding what it says in the actual catalog. I find that silly. The catalog is geared to the students who are trying to TAKE the classes in there. Ugh. But at least Sven is awesome and understands what I went through. So he's gonna set up an independent study with me and I'm just gonna act as a TA, just without the actual "course" on my schedule. Instead of "T.A. in CART 207" It'll be "INDS (Independent study): ___________" Awesome awesome awesome.
Well, today I get to watch Emily until about 7pm or so, then she's going camping...or something. Then I hope I'm not working Monday. Maybe Rich and I can get sushi. That'd be nice. :D The two of us have realized that we're a bit too similar. Haha. That's why we've officially become brother and sister...without being related. He's one of my best Oneonta friends who...actually lives close. Him and Kristine are the closest out of the Oney people, who live the closest as well. But Kristine is currently in Spain on a Study Abroad and I told her I'd take good care of Rich for her and keep him busy. :D
I guess that's about all that's happened so far...I'm surprised I'm actually kinda sorta using this? Awesome. I'll probably need it in school. :3 OH. I got a planner. I'm excited. :D (I know...I'm a loser.)
