Diet update...

Second day. Holding up well so far. Was confronted with someone's homemade chocolate cake upon entering the lunch room just now... bravely declined, am very impressed with my own strength of character, but all my taste buds now hate my guts. Especially since my colleagues were all aflutter about how tasty it was.

Normally considered polite not to rub dieters' noses in things like that. :p

Yeah, true, but they didn't know I'm dieting. Haven't exactly trumpeted it (except here of course) since I figured it'd just be an embarrassment if I failed again.

Now, however, am kind of proud of myself. Despite being very hungry this afternoon, didn't get a fatty snack, but held out until I could grab some fruit. Let's only hope and pray my willpower holds...
