Happy New Year!
Sorry! I haven't updated since my birthday... wow do I have some catching up to do. Between the holidays, family things, personal time, couple time :D, and lack of mental power... I have not updated much ><
I left off at my birhday. My LAN party was pretty awesome, I thought. Bawls, surprise sex, Dew, and much more were Drawn Together. Not everyone enjoyed it thoroughly...I have learned something different at each of my LANs: first it was how to properly set-up in advance, next it was to inform people sooner, this time I learned that next time there should be time slots for certain games. Not necessarily tournaments, but just hours of time set aside for certain games. Hopefully this will keep everyone in the same game, in the same server, and prevent people from just sitting around doing as they like. Sure, it's fine to check your mail and such... but there will be free time for aside for that, too. Also, it is not a bad idea to insist the attendess have all games pre-installed before the LAN begins, and I ought to keep this game list perhaps a little shorter. Hopefully I can convince my mother to let me host another LAN this winter, if not we can try to rent a hotel room perhaps. Either way, I've really come to love social gaming! heh... (yeah, I'm a dork). This LAN lasted from around noon that Friday all the way to noon the following Sunday, whew.

After staying up all night watching and imitating info-mercials (rly, you should try it sometime) with my new friend Karin ( Jotun ) (thx to my cousin Nick for bringing him!), I had to force my body to stay up for my family oriented b-day celebration. We went to my brother's house near Athens, and I dragged randomimplosion along. My brother cooked a dish he learned during his 7yrs. of work at a local resturaunt called Michelangelo's - a dish called 'Penne Trevatori' (sp?). It was really really good, if a little thinner than I remember. After that I had my usual German Chocolate cake courtesy of my mother, mmmm! Then, I got to open a couple of presents. My brother and sister in law got me the Stars Wars DVD trilogy (wewt!) as a b-day and x-mas present. My sister Margie got me a $25 Hot Topic gift certificate with which I bought an earing set of gradually smaller sizes - 14-12-10, I'm gaugin up, yay. The rest of that night seems a blur due to my immense need for a place to sleep. But, Tif, Tazmin (my other sister), Margie and her gf Alisha went up to Athens to their apartment, then went over to a local Borders. Where I later come to find out Tiffany bought my x-mas present (a suede leather-bound journal!!! sweet! I gonna sketch and write in it starting tonight). After all that, we were supposed to go see a movie, but I really could hold out any longer. So Tif ever so sweetly napped with me 'till I feel asleep, then had to head back to her place :*( However, I didnt' wake when she left, so I was disappointed the following morning to find her gone.
A couple of days later Tiffany ( randomimplosion ) and I went to see Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Fairly fun and adventurous movie, if geared toward a youner audience :P
Next big event was... x-mas! Whole week after my exhausting LAN party. Christmas Eve Tif came over and joined my family in our traditional big x-mas eve dinner. However, it didn't seem as big this year, heh. After that, since eveyone was together, we opened and shared presents. Tiffany opened her choker that I bought for her, and we got a picture of her expression, teehee! Much fun, joy, and merry-making was had. The following day, I finally dragged myself out of bed around 930 or 10 to open many more presents! Despite the lack of some computer parts I wanted (most understandably out of range of budgets ><), I did get plenty of useful gifts! A mustache-beard trimmer, a handsome green-centered outfit my mother picked out, finally got to try some boxer-briefs, a couple of very soothing and comfy and sexy t-shirts, a puzzle day-calender, and other goodies.
Last night, New Year's Eve, was amazing... Tiffany and I did some window shopping, trying to find her a nice coat, unsuccessfully. After that, we went to Daruma for some awesome! sushi!! We got free mugs as a New Year's gift from them, too (instead of free rainbow sherbet ><). Oddly enough after that we headed back to my house to nap, partly because Tif had stayed awake all night the night before, and also because we didn't really want to spend the next for hours in Olde town. So after the nap, we got up, headed back to Olde Town (the same place where we welcomed the new year 1yr. ago :D ). Our favorite place was 'taken' by some lady who passed out in the alley-way... so we opted to stand on the porch of the old train-station. There we shared another warm embrace and passionate kiss, which will hopefully bring us another year of absolutely incredibly together-ness -^.^-
One final note of some not-so good news, and yet some good news. My nice 160gb Samsung SATA hard drive w/ 8mb cache died the other day... right after I got a brand-new stylish power supply!! Thankfully, the hard drive is under warranty, it's just a matter of waiting who knows how long for a replacement to reach me, if the decide to send one >< I lost a lot of data, such as 4gigs of music, many image files of movies and such I wanted to keep, save game files, and some pictures I don't have backups of. Damnit. My mom just got a nice new photo printer, too. So, right now I'm using an 'ancient' 8gb hard drive salvaged from Tif's dad's old pc. I suppose it'll do, for now; and hopefully I'll get the hard drive replacement in less than a month (doubtful). But!! Thanks to my new power supply and a couple of UV cathodes, my computer looks pretty sweet!! I searched long and hard for something more yellow and black, but to no avail. Besides, I have had previously substituted the orange LED fans for 'yellow'. The more I look at it, the more I like it, and either way I have a little more to show at the next LAN I end up at.
