[She is very old and unfortunately doesn't have her cane with her, so it takes her a bit to hobble toward Yvaine, smiling gently.]

[Yvaine smoothly hurries forward to offer her arm.]

[She takes it, patting her arm gently with one wrinkled hand.]

Are you cold? I understand it's cold out for...most...though I spend much of my time outside so I've built something of a mild immunity.

[gently she turns their direction toward the lights of the city proper, the nearest cafe with an indoor seating area if nothing else and she wonders if the stranger is looking for someone]

[She follows along at a very slow pace, since she's used to being carried through uneven terrain, not taking it on foot. And her reply is a mumble, slightly too low to hear.]

[Yvaine doesn't press her for words, comfortable as anyone with silence and she doesn't mind the slow pace either. It's calm in its own way--like a casual tide smoothing up over the sand.]
