I wonder if it means anything -- that in one world a star is nothing but a distant fire, while in another stars no longer even exist, and in yet another stars look like what most know to be humans, give or take a brighter or dimmer glow. They converse, sing even, and they watch history as far-away witnesses who need not write any of it down because it is our post to remember, remember when perhaps nobody else will.
We are immortal. But fires...they go out eventually. Does it matter if that's all that they are?
Time moves so slowly here.
Does one world's version have any connection to the other's?
I would guess not, but guessing leaves a lot to be desired.
It's getting cold. I ought to look into...shelter.
