Fortunate, I suppose, to not have to drink or eat anything---particularly drink today. In the past this type of curse seems to happen on days meant for a celebration of sorts.

I have no idea what today's reason for festivity was supposed to be.

Of course, maybe there wasn't one this time at all.

There is no equivalent here to what I did at home, so I work a number of odd jobs. I am a librarian, an apothecary, and a healer, and recently I apparently own a bar.

Are you asking because you're looking for work?

Do you work as so many things because you want to? To fill time?

Oh, well, yes. But I'm not very familiar with doing most things.

Yes; they're more like hobbies. I don't do any of them full-time.

What did you do on your own world?

In my own world I simply did what a star is supposed to. Shining and bearing witness to history.

There were other things, but they seem far away even though they are technically the most recent.

I've spent centuries watching things happen, but never doing anything myself.

And I've been here long enough to have some grasp on it, but nothing particular.
