Life's full of surprises

Life is unbelievably good at the moment as I'm writing this. It has been a very calm but also real beautiful evening. I have been watching some anime episodes of the Japanese TV series, Blue Dragon. I was lying in the sofa, just relaxing as I was real tired (I had been out for two hours with Yoda running around and just playing and teaching him some new tricks). Yoda was lying on my stomach, sleeping. In the window bench, Fabian (one of my two cats) was sleeping. Down there, under the sofa, was Ruffe (the other cat), also sleeping. It's the first time I've seen them all sleeping at the same moment. The last weeks, not a second has passed without somebody of them running around, playing or making some stuff falling down (especially Fabian, he can be unbelievably clumsy but it's probably because he's very nosey). There was always one or two of them awake.

Yet I have to be honest with you, I have never been this happy. Those three cuties make my life extraordinary. Last semester, I was so tired of school and in the end I just fucked all the homework. I didn't do any homework for about two months and just focused at being with Yoda. Then this semester, I promised myself I'll make a change. Look at me now. Doing homework has never been funnier than like this, like this event last Tuesday. I was sitting by the kitchen table doing my Italian homework, and Fabian was walking around in the table, trying to steal my attention. I cuddled with him a little and when he was satisfied, I returned to my homework. A few moments later, Yoda was running into the kitchen and jumping up at me. I cuddled with him, too, then let him sit with me as I continued with the homework. Of course, you could say it's easy to rub my concentration, but actually, it's just the opposite. I'm more motivated to do it. I have also learned to plan time better when I have a dog and two cats to take care of. They are the best things that have ever happened to me. They are my everything. I can't imagine how my life would be now if they weren't in it.

Simple things in life actually makes a difference. It's what Yoda, Fabian and Ruffe have learned me. I appreciate the little things that happens in my everyday life. I appreciate the random surprises I get everyday. Life with them is so unpredictable, you never know what will happen next.
