 I've always deluded myself by thinking that I'm in good shape. Then I invariably prove myself wrong by running or walking for any distance. I'm always worse than I want to be. [sigh]

I need to get myself a routine and stick with it. I'm generally good for a couple of miles at a good pace walking, so I should probably start with that and then work for more distance and/or speed. Bleh.

Ten years ago I could run just under an 8 minute mile. I've let myself be lazy in the interim.

Sad, ain't it?

Ah well, at least I kick myself to get out and walk or run on a weekly basis. That and the outside stuff (felling trees and lawn care and playing with the younger set) will likely keep me active. I just need to up my activity.
