[Screened to Albel and Sheifa's friends and allies, except Jing//Unhackable]

Something's happened to Sheifa... she's lost her memories. Of everything. I had to tell her what her name was...

Whatever did this is powerful. We can't afford to take chances with it.

memories lost, alliance against the order of the crazy, [cardcaptor sakura] li sheifa

I've heard of it being so good that you forget everything. But I didn't think it was real.

Regardless, loss of memory doesn't surprise me. People were having similar effects back when people changed from Morgana's spell.

Amid all the current chaos I highly suggest you keep her in the apartment with you. Don't let anyone you know who might hurt her in. Then sit down and take a deep breath and calm down. It's probably a phase, if it lasts more then two weeks I'd start worrying.

*sigh* Soma, this really isn't the time for your sense of humor.

More or less what I was thinking, but... when things like that happen, it's usually a little more widespread than this, isn't it?

I like my sense of humor. It keeps people wondering about my sanity.

Yes and no. I was turned into my original form but retained my current sense of self before. I've read people turning into other people, or animals.

There's probably cases, but the situations are so unique it doesn't come up as obvious.

I know how things here work, Soma - I've been here much longer than you have, if you'll recall. But I haven't seen any other cases of anything happening.

Don't make me come over there and poke you. She'll want to know why a snowball is in the room with you.

How do you know? If this affects memory they may not automatically think to get on to the PDA and announce it to everyone. Heck I live with a wolf and a chibi who I barely see. If they got affected how would I know?

I can just say "this is Soma." I already explained the family thing.

Yes, but if all the victims had their memory affected at least one of them would either post something unusual or make the normal "where the hell am I" post many people make when they arrive. I've seen people post when they've been turned into a hamster.

'Soma looks like a Snowball on a white cone'.

If I were a gambler I'd bet that would be her response.

Look, right now I'm trying to peg down a replacement for a friend's antidote. I need to find out if a set of seeds can be replicated somehow. If I find more signs of memory loss or things that would concern memory, I'll let you know. While I do that you just sit back and find me that posting hamster. I'll need a few laughs.

((OOC: Ironically Soma's currently in a convo with another victim. Persephone herself! damnit he was going to bug her about those seeds too...))

Probably. She's still herself, even if she doesn't quite remember who it is she's supposed to be.

... Okay. Thanks, Soma.

((OOC: Hehe))

((OOC: Consider this a few hours later after our Dear Nature goddess's post.))

SEE! SEE! You doubting Thomas!... Persephone lost the ability to speak anything modern. She knows how to read and understand us, but she's missing that part that lets her speak and write BACK... Damn it I needed to bother her about those seeds... I guess I have to find out if demon spawned resurrections work too.

All right, so it is a bout of Econtra madness. I don't see how that changes our situation...

((OOC: soma has a BIG grin on his face and you should worry about that Noxy!))

Oh I don't know... Just keep her in bed... You 'can' do that right?

What situation?

*blush* Considering as far as she's concerned she met me a few hours ago, I don't think that particular method's the best idea Even if she did admit to thinking I'm hot after about fifteen minutes of conversation.

The whole memory-loss thing. It's not as if there's much we can do about it. It should wear off within a week, but there's not much we can do 'til then.

Teach her strip poker.

Grab the girls and play spin the bottle or 7 minutes in heaven.

Hide the warm clothes and tell her it's too cold outside. It's pretty near true. Find some of your other friends to hang out with her from time to time. But keep her inside and away from potential threats.

Are all of your suggestions going to involve things like that?

I don't think I need to worry about keeping her inside. She's terrified, Soma. As far as she's concerned, she's in a compound full of strangers with an almost totally blank past and she can't fight.

In a word? Yes.

Well now is a good time to show those soft Chipmunk traits. Just be soft and squishy for her, and let her know nothing bad is going to happen to her. If you need something grab the PDA and make a request. I'm sure one of us will be able to get you what you need. Save her quick return of memory.
