I open the door with a loud bang.

"I'm here, now let's get this party started"

I go and take a seat in the nearest chair.

Willow was thrilled to be going to Wesley's place for dinner. She would see Tara and Wesley. The fact that they were both dead at one point did not seem to phase her as it would any other human being. She had gotten familiar with that concept when she brought Buffy back from the dead a few years ago.

She walked into Wesley's front door, being lured in by the smell of the soup.

When I heard the noise from the door, I glanced through the doorway that connected the main room with the smaller in which I'd been waiting and thinking. Wesley hadn't said much since he brought me back to life not very long ago, so I was still rather confused.

As my gaze fell on the two new people in the room, my breath caught at the irony and, well, the potential awkwardness. I hadn't seen Oz since he'd been a wolf trying to eat me, and Willow...well, that would just be a touchy situation. Nevertheless, I stepped into the room, letting my hair fall in front of my face as I entered the firelight.

"Hey Oz, Will. Long time no see."

"Tara! It's so good to see you. How are you feeling?"

I quirked an eyebrow at Willow.

"You ask the girl who just came back from the dead how she's feeling? I'd fill you in, but I think Wesley expects to have time to talk sometime before next year, and that's about how long my answer would take. But you, Will, h-how've you been?"

My stutter reemerged as the truth of this situation hit me. This was Willow, and she'd been without me for three years. I almost dreaded her answer.

Well what else should I have said? I wanted to know if she was ok.

"Well, honestly I wouldn't know where to start. But right now, I'm just glad you're back. It's really felt empty without you."

Nighttime had come and a whole day had gone by. It had been a good day. A lot of good things had been accomplished on this day. One of them had been getting home safe, the other had consisted of Illyria fighting a band of evil fiends that had tried to attack her, slowing her return home.

But, alas, she was now back after holding off the Dragon of Kataramadu Pass as Tara and Wesley got away to safety.

As she gets closer to the cabin she can smell something in the air, and it makes her smile. She comes to the door and she can hear the sounds of running water, and the distinct clinking noise dishes make. She could also hear distinct voices.

Wesley... she thought as she turned the doorknob and entered the cabin. He turned around and flashed her a smile. She looked around an she could see that he had company. She walked closer to him inhaling the delicious fumes and letting the warmth of the stew warm her skin.

"I am famished. I would like to try some of that delicious looking stew."

The stew had a scent of vegetables and delicous intermingling of aromas. The bowls and platters of rough honest bread were already on the serving table near the fireplace.

The floor was of bare wood except for a few intricate rugs.

There were pegs on the wall near the door to hang coats and so forth as one entered.

Arrayed around the fireplace were numerous soft and hard places to sit down and rest. Illyria Wesley thought as he looked up in her direction as she entered and smiled.

The wood within the fire crackled and there was a delicate hint of pine needles in the air from the fire. The air was dry and very warm here in the cabin. Wesley greeted everyone who entered with a rugged smile.

He nodded over to Oz motioning for him to come over and sample his soup. Apparently he thought Oz might have a better scent of things and could tell him if it needed some of the other ingredients on hand.

He slowly turned and also looked towards Willow and Tara meeting each other with a very fulfilled and satsified expression on his face.

She walked closer to Wesley and as she did he handed her a bowl. "Thank you." She said with a smile, her stomach crying out.

She pours herself some of the aromatic stew and samples it with some of the bread savoring the taste. "This is quite a stew, Wesley, most delicious. You have definitely out done yourself." She expressed.

This had been exactly what she had needed. Everyone had an expression of happiness on their faces. There were not many days such as these, and she enjoyed every single one of them just like she was enjoying Wesley's delicious stew.

I walk over to the soup and smell.

"Wow, I haven't smelled anything this good in a very long time... Truly remarkable."

I look over at Wesley

"I have to decline some though, for I'm not that hungry right now. But I can tell right now, it smells delicious."
