When we landed near Kathmandu and disembarked I stretched my legs and looked over to her. She appeared to be in very good physical condition. This would be very beneficial considering the current state of the situation.
I led the way back to the luxury hotel I was staying at and pulled the overstuffed chairs closer to the roaring fire as I eased my aching body down into it's confines. I nodded towards the clean shower and the larger wardrobe in the travel chest I had packed for her.
I also glanced towards the elegent three piece dinner I had ordered ahead for us on silver platters resting on the table between the chairs. The light from the fire reflected in the silver and from my glasses. I smiled warmly to her, "Welcome to the temporary headquarters of Wesley Pryce, Kathmandu. Make yourself at home."
I poured her a cup of tea and for the first time in many days- relaxed.
