Fast food and the ability to not eat it anymore

Jinki sighed as he allowed himself to be pulled along by Kibum. They had been walking in the cold for at least an hour, and Jinki had gotten violently bitten the last time he had asked where they were headed. Kibum’s face was flushed from the cold and Jinki found that somewhat endearing, as creepy as it sounded.
“Admit it, Kibum; we’re lost.”
Kibum huffed indignantly, “We are not lost. I know where we’re going.”
“It wouldn’t hurt to ask for directions,” Jinki stated as he tried to rub the feeling back into his nose.
“WE ARE NOT LOST!”
Kibum stopped abruptly, causing Jinki to trip and fall. After all, his face was obscured by his hand and he was relying on Kibum to keep him from harm’s way. Kibum nudged Jinki’s side with his booted toe, making sure that the boy wasn’t dead.
“Kibum,” Jinki whined (and mind you, Jinki did not whine often), “I’m cold, I’m hungry and now I’m sore. Can you just please, ask for some directions?”
Kibum’s expression softened as he helped Jinki up. After telling Jinki firmly not to move from his spot, Kibum walked off to ask for directions. When he returned five minutes later, he had a smile on his face.
“Where,” Jinki sighed, “are we going? And no don’t bite me!”
“I’m taking you to Kentucky Fried Chicken, silly boy!”
The blood drained from Jinki’s face, “You dragged me into the cold to eat fried chicken? We could have ordered chicken!”
Kibum stood, shocked that Jinki seemed to overlook the fact that he was bringing him to eat fried chicken. “What’s the fun in ordering? Besides, this way, we could spend some time alone.”
Seeing Kibum’s dejected face made Jinki regret his outburst. “Kibum, look,” he started, “I’m sorry I yelled. It just, hasn’t been a very good day for me. I appreciate that you tried to spend more time with me, but next time, let’s just watch a movie at home.”
“Okay,” Kibum nodded, “let’s eat chicken while watching the movie?”
Jinki groaned as he started to pull Kibum in the direction of their apartment.
“You know what? I’m going to stay away from fast food for awhile.”
And as they walked home together, Jinki failed to notice the satisfied smirk on Kibum’s face.
Mission accomplished.
