All The Little Things You Do

I awake; you’re next to me. I smile as I breathe in. You smell like you always do - of dreams and magic. I find myself trapped in your arms, but really, I don’t mind. You take in a deep breath, and slowly, your eyes open as well. You smile, and my heart starts pounding in my chest. You’ve never been much of a morning person, and yet I’ve never known a person more beautiful in the morning. Your lips brush against mine, and I can faintly taste your toothpaste. You check the clock before kissing my forehead. Go back to sleep, you tell me, it’s early. And then, you leave the room after covering me with the blanket. I lay curled up on the bed for a while, before deciding to join you. Walking out of the room, I see you reading the morning newspaper. The concentrated look in your eyes makes me laugh a little. You look up, smiling when you catch my eye. I walk over to the kitchen, pouring myself a cup of coffee. You laugh slightly and start nagging playfully about the harmful effects of caffeine. I laugh along. It’s more milk than caffeine anyway, I whisper as I sit down beside you. You nuzzle your face in my neck for a moment. I know, you breathe onto my skin. As you return to reading the newspapers, I lay my head on your shoulder, coffee in hand. As you fold the newspaper, you turn to kiss the top of my head. I hear you breathing in deeply and I instinctively move my head to suck lightly on your collarbone. Kibum, you laugh. I laugh as well. I love you, you whisper. Wordlessly, my lips move against yours.

I love the way you sleep.

I love you way you smile.

I love the way you care for me.

I love the way you kiss me.

I love the way you make my coffee.

I love the way you tell me you love me.

But most of all, I love all the little things you do.
