This is why the Taliban needs to be stopped
Nothing like a couple of fucking cowards attacking girls with acid because they are going to school.
The Taliban was a brutal regime that is trying to claw its way back and oppress the people of Afghanistan once again. It is not wrong to take up arms against an enemy who would deny children the right to go to school because of their gender.
Regardless of their alleged "culture" the Taliban ruthlessly violated human rights, and they should be hunted down and made nothing but a forgotten page in a history book.
I am thankful that Canada has men and women of conviction who will put themselves in harm's way so that children can go to school and people can be free to practice whatever religion they want without fear of being stoned to death, beheaded, or blown up by cowards inflated with righteous indignation called suicide bombers.
Anyone who terrorizes their own population and attacks children are not human beings in my opinion.
I am a staunch pacifist and I don't believe war is the answer, but sometimes good men and women cannot sit idly by and allow these abuses to continue.
