To get around you will find an elevator which will bring you to quite a few useful places. For instance, the City Without Walls contains many things. The ones that would be of main interest being the medic island, paper factory, and market place.
The Wilderness changes every so often, it really depends on what it is being at the moment. I believe it is a water park at the moment. It is also advisable to travel with a partner, I do believe a girl got lost for quite a while when she was there.
The Scavengers’ Yard is a dump of sorts. Although it sounds unpleasant you can find things that are quite useful once they are fixed. Usually, you can hire someone to fix the item if you cannot do that yourself.
There are also animals here but are usually quite large in comparison to the normal everyday animals you probably have wherever you came from. I remember a man tamed a squirrel at one time, so they seem to be harmless unless provoked.

Thank you for the information on the world. I presume that no one truly knows 'why' we are here... Hmph. I'll be sure to explore. The guide told me I shall need to find employment, so wandering the Tree will be in my future.
The large tree feels quite... natural.

It is a possibility. The tree from my dream was... smaller. Still quite large, but not nearly as colossal as the one we are residing in.
