Journey the First

...And so I find myself in this strange world. I must say, the method of arrival is... undignified, to say the least. I have also been informed that these journals can be used as communication devices. Hmph. Interesting enough.

Would anyone care to explain this 'Edensphere' in more depth?

You are more than likely in the temporary housing of Edensphere. From what is known there are four different residential areas. From what I’ve heard the housing improves quite a bit in the upper numbers of the residential areas.

To get around you will find an elevator which will bring you to quite a few useful places. For instance, the City Without Walls contains many things. The ones that would be of main interest being the medic island, paper factory, and market place.

The Wilderness changes every so often, it really depends on what it is being at the moment. I believe it is a water park at the moment. It is also advisable to travel with a partner, I do believe a girl got lost for quite a while when she was there.

The Scavengers’ Yard is a dump of sorts. Although it sounds unpleasant you can find things that are quite useful once they are fixed. Usually, you can hire someone to fix the item if you cannot do that yourself.

There are also animals here but are usually quite large in comparison to the normal everyday animals you probably have wherever you came from. I remember a man tamed a squirrel at one time, so they seem to be harmless unless provoked.

Oh, yes, I am Vanilla. It is a pleasure to chat with you Seraph.

I'm glad to make your acquaintance, Vanilla.

Thank you for the information on the world. I presume that no one truly knows 'why' we are here... Hmph. I'll be sure to explore. The guide told me I shall need to find employment, so wandering the Tree will be in my future.

The large tree feels quite... natural.

You are welcome.

Cuttlefish could probably answer your questions… If he was around.

Feel free to stop by the bookstore. It is located in the marketplace. I’m sure you’ll find a job that suits your needs.

As for the tree… I’m used to it but it feels odd to me.

A bookstore? Most fascinating. I'll be sure to come by there. Will you be there today?

...It is reminiscent of my dream.

It will be a pleasure to meet you in person. Yes, I’m there most of the time.

I see… Maybe you have already been to this place?

I shall look for the bookstore when I explore the marketplace.

It is a possibility. The tree from my dream was... smaller. Still quite large, but not nearly as colossal as the one we are residing in.

Alright.

Hm… Maybe your dream is a connection to your past? I believe mine was.

...I am unsure. I have little point of reference to determine if the occurrences in my dream were factual. It seemed to hold meaning, though I am unsure of what.
