It is a good thing that I do not favour my left hand- with this strange golden claw on, I doubt I would be able to write well. Granted, walking in these longs shoes will prove to be difficult. The Sphere is having a lot of fun with us these past weeks. Chosen, I will be returning home to find some other clothing.
Also, I have been studying the phenomena of the unicorns to the best of my ability. From the legends I know and have read about here, it is said that the unicorn can only be approached by a Pure Maiden- that is, a virginal woman. I found it strange that there would be so many tagging along with men as well- not to mention that there are so many. In the lore I know of Unicorns there is only ever one alive at a time. When that Unicorn fulfills its purpose, it dies and, somewhere, is born again, anew.
Yet, in this Sphere the unicorns do not seem to fit most of the lore. There are dozens, if not hundreds, and they follow men just as easily as women. They do, however, shy away from those who are not currently in possession of a Unicorn, suffering adverse effects similar to an aneurysm should they be touched by one.
Despite this, people seemed to have latched to the idea that the common factor in deciding who receives a Unicorn and who does not is virginity, the last lore which, due to memory loss, could be difficult to discern. I am unable- and unwilling- to ask for information as to this matter, prying too far into other's business. Chosen has proclaimed that there is little to no chance that he is virginal, and I am inclined to believe him, seeing his multitude of female accompaniments. This is a discrepancy in the information, though I seem to fit the pattern- no unicorn, no 'purity.'
But if there is a reasoning for the unicorns being assigned to who they latch to, perhaps there is a greater reason for many of the events in this Sphere. Perhaps there is a reason I'm garbed in a red cape and metallic claw, just as there could be a reason half the sphere is saddled with unicorns.
...Simply my thoughts on the matter.
