My Trip to Ft. Worth Below

Well, I promised to tell you about my day so here I am. I don't know how long this entry will be but you might as well sit back and grab something to drink. *LoL* If I wrote as long as we were lost while trying to find the church, we'd be here for a while. I told Mom and Dad, "well, as long as we get there for the preachin'!" Well, we got there in time for the part of the pastor recongition thing, offering , and the preaching. *LoL* I looked around for people I was familiar with. I got all settled in before I saw him....he was on the platform on the drums. And it wasn't Timmy *LoL* Anyways, the preaching was awesome. "Going Beyond Recovery". Bro. Padgett did an awesome job.
Tony, that dude is a riot. Totally cracks me up. He kept sneaking peeks from two or three pew up in the middle. *snickers* Anyways it took me a few minutes to spot Renee and I kept a look out for Ashley's Pastor and crew. Her asst. pastor was the one they arranged for me to meet. It wasn't until the end of the service that I finally spotted some of them. Bro. Les and his Dad (Ash's pastor) was like a lot shorter than I was expecting. *LoL* Anyways, Bro. Padget had all of the Ft. Worth men and ladies gather around Bro. Pixler. It was beautiful
I finally got to see Tiara in person. She's Talisa and Todd's little sister. She's like 2 1/2 and she is soooooooooooooooooooo cute! Looks a lot like her brother. *snickers* Poor thing.
Once church was over I found Bro. Les and introduced myself. I have Renee tagging along behind me and my parents as I make my way carefully over to where I found him standing... I'm like "Bro. Murphy? I'm Summer." He was expecting to meet me because the Ruckers had already set it up with him. He said he'd been looking for me trying to figure out who I was. I'd asked for a picture so I'd know what he looked like, but he was so much shorter than I expcected. He was really nice, they all seemed nice, but it was cool being able to meet someone that knew Ashley and Sis. Michele. I also met Bro. Stewart and Caden which I'd heard alot about from the Rucker's.
Brittney was dying to know where I got my jacket and was totally bummed when I told her I got it at a resale shop. Hopefully we'll get a chance to talk more next time. We didn't end up at the same resturant on either occasion so I didn't get a chance to get to know her. I got to know Renee's sister Elissa and a really nice blk girl named Shan.
I rode with Renee but as I was walking towards Renee's car Tony and Brooke were standing there and Tony is like, "wow, oh wow, wow, oh wow" I gracefully get in the car and he's like "I'll pray for you" (Renee's just got her license) and I was like "thank you!" He laughed like it was really funny. Boys are so silly. Some boys anyways, well, maybe all boys.
Then was the Cheddar's experiance. *giggles* We were going to Chili's instead of Cheddar's. However Renee with my parent's following her took us to Cheddar's and we were waiting to be seated when she got this really funny expression her face and was like, "we're not suppose to be eating at Cheddar's, but Chili's so when the waiter's leave we sneak out the door and head to Chili's.
Got to Chili's and decided what we wanted and waited for Elissa and Shan to get there. Finally they did and we had a great time fellowshiping and teasing Elissa about Renee's "boyfriend" and I nearly choked when Elissa asked me if I thought Stephan River's was cute. (she's the one with the HUGE crush, lol) I'm thinkin' "Lord, how am I going to handle this discreetly" (I think he's nice lookin' yeah, but like that? no way!) Thankfully Shan who was sitting next to me was like, "I think he's nice lookin', but I don't like him like that!" I was like "yeah me, too." God made a way out for me on that one.
Finally we left and Renee and I headed for Ross's to mess "shop" and all we did was mostly look. My parent's looked around here and there then we met back at Chili's parking lot and I ended up spending the time up until church time with Renee at her house while my folks were back at the church.
Church was awesome again. It was so funny. Bro. Ballestero asked us girls on the front row to form a circle and sorta dance (His sermon was like, "the reason for my dance") and we just stared at him like he was crazy. We did finally form a circle, but we went in the wrong direction! The boy's on the front row go to do it too. However I imagine they didn't have people asking them "how'd you like dancing in front of the whole church" 15 million times. *LoL* Okay so I'm going a little over board, but.. hehe you know what I mean. The boy's are the the ones that are usually used in sermons not us girls! Britt and I sorta hit the same spiritual wave length I think. At least that is what I felt. We went faster and faster. I was glad when he told us we could stop because I was getting dizzy!
We did "On The Border" for supper and it was better eating than Chili's was. However Renee and I both felt outta place and bored. Elissa and Shan musta misunderstood because we guessed they went to the other one. Oh well, we were like really tired anyways and nearly the oldest people at the table. *LoL*
Well, Mom, Dad, and I got home without getting lost! And now that you have a general idea of my day. Very general idea lol, I'm going to eat some lunch!
