As a writer, I think I'm all over the place. Music influences the ideas, y'know? It's like watching an MAD of something. It's gotta click.
Also, it doesn't help that I got into an entire discussion earlier about old school mech animes. And can you believe it? It wasn't with kids. Nope, it was with my high school freshman cousin, his father (a pastor), a father of 2 toddlers, and MY MOTHER.
I think I finally know where my anime-loving genes came from...
Anyway, I've been listening to some old T.M. Revolution stuff lately, and a creative vision just came to me out of nowhere. It was Canada in one of those tube things. Kinda like
these. So what do I do?
I WRITE IT IN MY HANDY-DANDY NOTEBOOK! No, seriously. I have an idea notebook. Flipped past the ideas for a Gankutsuou, Guilty Gear and various Hetalia fics to a clean page. Wrote down the title for the idea: "APH Mech AU" and left it at that for the night.
This morning while I was lying in bed with my brain still half-asleep, I thought up of MORE: America's one of the leading pilots of the satellite network (made up of 6 satellites for each continent, minus Antarctica) and during a raid, he discovers a tube experiment that's near-identical to his own appearance.
...All this because I listened to Invoke and Ignite by T.M. Revolution.
OHHHHMANNNNNN
...
C'mon, it's 1 in the morning. My brain's fried. Of course I'll act high.
btw, I remembered how to do the drum-snap-tings to FF7's Turks Theme. Just thought to let'cha'll know :D
