Boredom Strikes Back!

Jan 18, 2010 15:07

Apparently I'm still sick. I've been coughing up my lungs and have had excessive nosebleeds two days in a row O____o Stupid copper nitrate fumes ('cus I've been feeling weird since my chem teacher did that demo, ffffffffffffffffff).

I stayed home on Wednesday because I felt like crap. I didn't get to go online 'til late that night when my mom told me to go check if I had homework. But it was all good since it actually let me listen to Sound Horizon without any distractions. And listening to Roman again made me realize that HOLY SHXT, I STARTED ON A GUILTY GEAR AU THAT I WANTED TO DO!

So I got back on it :)

It's really shaping up in my head, but it's still early enough that I can make some nice changes to make it "Yumekui Kenbun"-ish (aka it's all connected somehow 8D). Which is what I wanna go for because that's kinda the concept of Roman, being the "story that connects us." The only part I really hate is when I get stuck with the dialogue. That, and the fact that I want to make casting changes when I thought I finally had it down XDDD. But that's just me wanting to include the entire cast of 26 in there. Yes, 26: the 23 playable characters of Guilty Gear X2, A.B.A from Accent Core because I count her and Paracelsus as one unit (and I know she originally debuted in Isuka... but Isuka brings back bad memories, so I'm not even gonna go on that), Sin from GG2, and That Man.

So I'm planning to triple-check the casting and see if it really makes sense. And if it doesn't when I actually get to writing their chapter, then I'll put a little flourish to it. Because I said in the prologue that it wasn't gonna be like the original Roman. I wanted to put a twist 8D

And since I mentioned Yumekui Kenbun somewhere up there, I'm really craving for that Delirium spin-off volume right now. I just hope it's not as angsty as VOLUME NINE BECAUSE THAT MADE ME CRY. WAH. ;A;

Soooo, during my three-day break, I did NOT do my graphics homework, but instead chose to watch the Satoshi Kon movie Paprika, and Tokyo Godfathers the next day. And I have to say, I think I've found a favorite movie director other than Miyazaki <3 I absolutely adored the Sound of Music reference they used in Tokyo Godfathers and it gave me a completely unconventional Christmas storyto cheer me up from my Week of Depression. And don't get me started on Paprika -- that thing TRIPPED ME OUT OF MY MIND; IT WAS SO AWESOME.

I remember back when I was nine or so, when I first saw the advertisement for the movie in Shounen Jump. A lot of things from my past are making its way to my face lately. It's pretty cool.

Me and Anjie are planning to do some easy BlazBlue cosplaying in the near future. We need to do a lot of shopping, and she told me to write down a list of what we need, so here we go:

Hazama / Terumi Ingredients:

1. Black suit jacket w/ coattails (or at least the fabric for it)
2. White dress shirts
3. Black pants
4. Black inner vest thingy
5. Black ties
6. Two brown belts (each)
7. Brown shoes
8. Two gold buckles (each)
9. Chain
10. Random strip of brown fabric
11. Short wigs
12. Green hair dye
13. At least 5 cans of hairgel (for her)
14. A black fedora (for me)

...Nevermind, NOTHING in any Arc System Works game is easy cosplay. BUT WE CAN DREAMMMMMM. (Actually, I think experiment!Noel is easiest to cosplay -- a white ward dress.) If I ever see someone actually pull of Nu or Lamda, I WILL PRAISE THEM SO HARD.

And now, I hear some brownies that wish to be savagely devoured; WHOOT! *zip*

(By the way, the cut was supposed to be the beat to 'Stand By Me' :D)

guilty gear, school, trollzama, procrastinating again, fanfic ideas, sound horizon, blazblue
