Hello, friends! Slight problem. Anybody wanna help me fix it?
Here's the short of it. While I was in Cincinnati on Monday evening, enjoying a truly awesome Weird Al concert at Coney Island, a cat followed Ariel into our apartment. I came home Tuesday afternoon, having stayed a night with a friend in northern Kentucky, and lo and behold, the cat is still here. We can't really have pets, since a) we don't wanna cough up the deposit, and b) we're often gone for several days at a time. So, after a thorough checking out, we have one black tom kitten, at leaast 6 weeks old, in decent health. He's got a mild irritation behind one ear, but it does not appear to be infected or fungal. He's pretty fond of milk, and cleans himself well after eating. He's pretty agile and friendly, and seems to take well to what little training I've tried to give him. (such as, "stop trying to nibble me", reinforced with a gentle tap on the nose, and "please hold still a moment" which easily was conveyed by a soft grip on the scruff of the neck, just as momma would do)
So, all this said, I had a lovely Monday evening, a total blast, but came home to a slight problem. Is there anyone who can or would take this cute little animal in? We certainly can't keep him, and have company coming over in less than 48 hours. Honestly, he's a very good cat, and clever. Any takers?
Much love and thanks!!
