Hmm, looks like everything is calm again, more or less. (I wonder if this is the calm before or after the storm?)

Either way, I've managed to find a few cups and a teapot; they're a bit cracked, but still good.

Would anyone like to join me for a cup of tea? It's always nice to have a bit of company.

Probably a short moment in between storms, if anything.

Most likely, but it might as well be enjoyed while it's still possible.

I suppose. I would prefer to be prepared, however.

Well, that certainly wouldn't hurt. How would you prepare yourself?

Considering this place's usual fare: collect information, acquire weaponry, and reinforce the defenses. And of course, by teaching the students how best to live in this environment. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself, but some of these children are woefully unprepared.

Hmm. Have you set up any classes for the children, yet?

I've been teaching the children for several weeks now, Shinigami.

How has it been going? Which subjects are being taught?

It's been going as well as possible, for a school run in a post-apocalyptic world.

And I'm teaching them all the basics, of course. They need to learn mathematics, reading and writing, logic...

It could be going excellently! Location doesn't matter that much if you can manage to get everything organized well and running smoothly.

Which languages are you teaching?

Yes, but tell that to the students when they suddenly find that one of their classmates has been nailed to a ceiling.

I'm teaching a few students English, but other than that I'm not teaching any languages. To be honest, the only other language other than English that has a major presence here is Japanese, and I don't speak that. And all the languages that I know are known by different names in my world - making it difficult to judge what is really needed here.

Although I am going to be teaching someone Chinese. He is not one of my regular students, however.

We deal with it as best we can, then. And as unfortunate as the situation is, it is something that may turn out to be common here. As long as the students keep a sense of right and wrong and don't think of something like that as normal, then there is still hope.

Hmm. Well, we're lucky enough to only have a few languages to deal with. Are there any other classes you'd like to have taught?

...Yes, I suppose there is.

There's lots of other classes I would like to see taught. But while I enjoy teaching, I don't want to spend all of my time in the classroom. And as far as I know, there aren't any other teachers around.

Although there is at least Iroh, and his martial arts classes. And a young man is planning to teach "alchemy." But we'll have wait and see how successful that is.

Well, if you could put together a list of classes, I could ask around for teachers. There's no doubt somebody willing to teach something! One of my teachers is here, although I don't know if he'd be up to teaching right now.

Well....perhaps if we organize this into a school of sorts, rather than everyone holding their own classes, it'd be easier to keep track of things.

One of your teachers?

And I can already think of several classes. For one, someone needs to teach the elder children. Languages, particularly English and Japanese. And other, more specialised subjects such as nursing would be useful. However, we have no way of knowing if anyone here can teach any of those subjects. It would be more effective to just ask who is interested in teaching, and then see what courses they could teach.

Yup, one of my teachers! Stein-kun; he taught science in Shibusen.

Hmm. Well...we could do both? We could ask who is interested in teaching, and provide a list of classes wanted. There might be people wanting to teach, but who don't know how they'd be able to help out until they see a list of options!
