Dear PC Information Technology,
Do not let end-users install critical software components a la Office 2007 on their own.
Even if they don't need a CD to install it.
Even if it is automatic and asks no questions whatsoever.
They will still do it wrong, and blame it on us, and we will have to fix every one of them.

On another note, the LSACC LAN was again a blast. The current kids running it are really great, they've done a fantastic job with managing LANs and building the new server and getting a rather large non-geek following. It's amazing that they're having them even in the summer :D :D
