MJ in my life

So for the past several weeks, I've been on a serious MJ high. This past week, hoewever, I think it's really becoming obvious I have fallen under the moonwalker's charm.

This week, I ended up geting two more MJ related tribute magaines: The Vanity Fair tribute and the Today's Black Woman tribute, thje former geting my dad annoyed because I already bought the latter and the LIFE tribute already. Also, with the former as a reference, I've begun donig a reallife sketch of MJ. It's going slow, but I don't want to mess it up.

Talking on making MJ stuff, I am working on a MJ fic of my own. It mostly about a little girl (8-9 years old) in 1978-1979 who meets Michael during the creation of "Off The Wall" and it follows how they became casual friends to brother/sister friendship and then finally lovers around 2002-ish. It also will cover some of MJ's triumps and trials (hopefully), including things like the real "Billie Jean", his illnesses, his love life (and how the girl's oldest sister goes a little crazy trying to make MJ love her), Lisa Marie, MJ's kids, the alligations, and other stuff, including jokes from Shamone_ONTD.

On thursday, I was out with my mom at this outdoor event at the fairgrounds near where I live. We were chilling in the picnic area when "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" began playing on the music system. I sang along with it, occasionally doing a few little bops to the music, entertaining my mom's co-worker, who ahd joined us at the picnic table we were sitting at. After that, I begna doodling on the paper covering the table with the free crayons at the table for the little kids. I drew a regular MJ with a fedora, his feet donig the toe stand, a stick figure with an apple for a head, and a small sketch of MJ posing in his Smooth Criminal attire. I couldn't take the doodle home, nor did I take a picture of it, but I did sign it.

Then last night, I finally had an MJ related dream.

So I was at this convention, in this stage area and MJ was, for some reason, performing there live. The place reminded me of Anime Boston for some reason and MJ was doing songs at random - amost like "Live by request" or something - with videos fromn his music videos/live performances playing on a big screen on the stage. Michael looked like how he was in the 30th Aniversary special - short, curly-ish hair and such - while in a blue shinny button up shirt and black pants.

Some time passes and he asks what song he should do next. Me and a few others shouted "Blood On the Dance Floor" and Michael became nervous, noting he wasn't that young anymore, too old to do that and such, And he decides to take a break, but he still remained in the area, walknig around meeting fans.

So I start singing to myself that song and the two girls in front of me - both black - comments on my singing and ask if I was going to be involved in some little show afterwards where fans got on the stage and sang MJ songs. I was really confused and remembered that I had found an MJ-ish outfit I had made up.

Then the guy next to me, who I had no idea who it was, notes that Michael had some weight on him and didn't look as thin as he was when he died (!) and then shouted soemthing about the media failing in trying to kill MJ.

Suddenly Michael was over by us and asked "What do you mean 'being able to kill me'?" or something.

And then I woke up because of my dad walking around on his crutches.

And that's been my MJ attack during this past week.
