Near death experience... sorta
Whoa! Its been awhile since i updated! LONG TIME!
This weekend i am probably gonna get to go to Great Wolf Resort in Traverse City with Tian! FUN!!!
Today at work, I -- Wait! Lemme start over
*ahem*
Okay, for like the past three months at work i've been hearing this odd sound whenever i walk through the gym... kinda like a drill or something and everyone told me it was a bird. I just agreed, b/c that made more sense. Today, finally i convinced my boss/ coworker to let me go on the roof to check it out. we went up and after a few mishaps with the ladders managed to get to the roof of the gym to check it out.
Well, we couldn't see inside the vent so we went back into the gym. WEll our tallest ladder doesn't go high enough to reach the gym ceiling soooooo.... we set that ladder (the A shaped ones) under the vent and went to get the extension ladder. Using the A-shaped ladder, we braced the extension ladder against it... I opened the ladder up, but i couldn't extend it far enough to lean it against the ceiling... so i started climbing. (puts on Dunce cap) my boss was holding the A-shaped ladder while i did this. When i was about halfway up, the A- shaped ladder slipped and consequently so did I. Yea,,,, So then! as I slid down, my leg got caught between the two ladders and my boss was struggling to hold them up while i tried to fix my side. Eventually i was able to lower the extension ladder, untangle myself and pull the ladder up and straighten it all out.
Needless to say, after that we decided the bird survived for 3 months, he can wait a little longer.
