(no subject)
anddd at the HK airport right now...leaving for back to taiwan haha.
going to be in taiwan until april 1st...then back to freelance/searching for work it is. sigh. let's not talk about that ~.^
ate a ton here in HK, got all the important stuff in, but man, there's so much more to eat here! gar...will have to return (for many) someday(s) to hit up everything haha.
realized i really like it here. it's pretty international. you can speak english, chinese, or japanese here and still fit in haha. lots of "foreigners" (tourists and business people alike) walking around - it was like a more asian version of LA or something hahaha. went into a grocery store and there were buenos (!!!), japanese candy, and m&ms right next to each other. i can get used to this place ~.^ also a huge variety of cheese and teas considering it was under british rule before. so good.
also went to visit my first partner hoon at his office (cambridge house) in hk island. so nice. i wouldn't mind working here at all haha. went to see the buddha statue in ngong ping and rode those gondola lifts (cable cars) over the ocean and mountains. really pretty stuff. just a bit cloudy since it had been raining earlier that day (apparently it doesn't rain here very often at all so we were "lucky" hahaha.)
didn't really expect anything when i came here, so i was pleasantly surprised. it's also the first time i've been in "china" where the main language was canto not taiwanese or mandarin. dad got us around since he understands about 80% of canto and speaks it as well...not that it matters that much i guess since everyone here seems to understand mandarin and english to some extent too haha.
yar. heading back to taiwan in 2 hours. can't wait to play there as well! hope it doesn't rain too much ;]
