steel vibrations

i went to a shooting range for the first time yesterday. tom and tom's dad taught me how to handle a gun and some basics on shooting. tried out the 9mms - a baretta, a USP, and a glock. then a .4 glock. haha i liked the USP overall...i guess i do better with heavier guns in general (that, and i learned how to aim haahhaha).

the smell of gunpowder, steel, the flash of red as you fire, and the vibrations of the sound on the ground. "that's a real gun." "that's a person shooting a real gun." "this is me shooting a real gun." i guess people who shoot guns frequently get jaded to the enormity of the power eventually, but for now, it's quite dangerously awe-inspiring.

wouldn't mind going back to try out the revolver, shotgun, and maybe the .44/.45s haha.
