Now That My Rose Colored Glasses Have Disintegrated... Black Panther Rants...

As much as I love this movie, and don't get me wrong, I do... I had some issues outside of what I wrote yesterday. This was originally a long ass PS but it spiraled into a full blown rant so here I am...
Dude, first of all, on opposite sides of the theatre were babies. How do I know? Because at 2 separate points in the film, the babies started to cry. At 1st, I thought it was part of the film because of how smooth it sounded but nah. Who the fuck brings a whole baby to a movie? Apparently those 2 fucktards. Also, 3 people's phones went off. Ugh. Bitches, man. I turned my shit off as I was walking in the theatre and didn't turn the shit back on until I was leaving but no... These fools decided everybody needed to hear their latest, hot off the presses ringtone in the middle of Black Panther cuz... *shrugs* Reasons. Oh, oh! And let's not forget the moron who decided to get up and walk in front of the screen like his or her ass wasn't in the way. Had I been bootlegging, that woulda been the part my customers bad mouthed me all over town for. That and those fucking babies! Last but most certainly not least, these newbs man. Not being a hater. I wanna start these next few sentences with the fact that I've been talking about this movie since Captain America: Civil War. With that being said, no matter what this movie means to me, I tried to be accepting of the fan base it's pulling in. I really gave it the ol' college try but, no. Nope. Nah. People will ruin the weight of a movie in a heartbeat because I was also the same person who was mad as shit at people who were pimping this movie without any of the background. I was better off on my 1st stance. Fuck those outsiders. I tried. I really did but you know what? No. As a black nerd, no. All you know is black skin and none of the history. No. Shit like this is how Obama became president. I stand by that statement and I'm not taking it back. People saw black skin and bam! Instant president. Guess what? Not all black is alright just like not all white is alright. Some smooth, chocolatey complexion SHOULD NOT be enough to sway you but OMC... Did it ever! I really was trying ever so hard not to judge. Well, fuck all that now. I tried and now I'm done trying.
As a black nerd, I am aware of how easily dismissed we are for not being black enough and yet now since you hear about Africa and some black skin you wanna jump on something that actually means something to me? Dude man, fuck you. If you do not know about Wakanda, I don't care where you get your knowledge, scrape some up. Don't go adorning yourself in some African garb only to continue to shun your own as soon as you leave the theatre.
