I broke code of conduct and texted Kyle. Why did I do that? Well, allow me to explain: I don't wanna be the type of friend who turns their back on a friend because I don't like something. Whether they caused it or coulda avoided it, at the end of the day, we're still friends. Sometimes I react so vehemently against things that I tend to forget at the end of the day, we are only human. Mistakes are what define us for who we truly are and even tho' I don't quite feel bad for him, he's my friend.
David and I have been going back and forth about this since he got off work. He's all Jessica's this and Jessica's that and his whole family says he's better off without her but... Well, I just don't see how she is the cause of this whole thing. I really don't. I'm not allowed to say that tho'. The only thing I am shuddering over is the fact that she now lives right there... I mean, RIGHT THERE. Other than that, I'm not saying Jessica's anything. Love doesn't fade in a day so everyone telling him he's better off does him no favors. He's just angry and hurt and angrier still because he was hurt. I dunno what to say but, I did say he needs to work on not being angry. Yes, it will take time but I know what I'm talking about. Had I stayed angry with David, he would be in a ditch somewhere and I would not be who I am today. Yes, sometimes I still find myself angry for the past but I've learned to live with the hand I was dealt and it made me stronger. I am stronger as a person because now I can give advice based off my life experiences. He won't be better off because someone told him. He will be better off if he can dust himself off and learn from this. If he took nothing from this then he will never be better off.
That's the truth.
