Prologue
Edward growled at the offending hand that shook him. He mumbled incoherently and turned to his side, only to fall off of the small train seat. He sat up and yawned; he heard his younger brother Alphonse, chuckle lightly. He felt a faint pinch of pain around his tailbone but ignored it. He promptly stood up and noticed that the train had stopped and several people were staring at him and his brother. He glared at them and got off of the train. He then went and received his suitcase and yawned yet again. He had been very tired lately; maybe I'm catching a cold. He stretched and looked at Al.
"Well let's go find an Inn to stay the night at." Edward said in an almost lazy or relaxed tone. They asked around and found out that there was a very good Inn where they served breakfast & dinner. On the way to the Inn called Outside Heart, Edward held back a cough, but ended up sneezing. "Aaaaaahhhchooo" Al looked over at his brother. "Nii-san, are you okay? Are you feeling well?" Al asked worriedly. Ed threw on a quick smile. "Yeah, I'm fine Aru."
They walked up the front stairs of the inn and entered. A light jingle echoed in the Inn. Ed and Al entered the Inn and found the lady at the desk looking like she had just woken up. She was probably woke up when the bells on the door jingled loudly. She immediately stood up straight and smiled warmly. "Welcome!" she greeted in a friendly voice. Edward smirked and walked up to the desk. Al stood by the door, only in case they'd be denied a room. Ed came back smiling with a set of keys. "Come on, Let's go to our room." Ed said with a yawn.
Al didn't mind that Ed went straight to bed. Al knew that Ed was lying; Al knew when Ed was sick. Ed was rarely sick to begin with, so it was always easy to tell when he was. Ed was always miserable when he was sick and slept a lot. Al was used to it, because Ed used to do it when they were kids. He smiled and quietly read a book as Edward slept.

Edward felt horrible when he woke up. Yup, a damned cold. He sighed and rolled to his side. The sun fell through the window near the bed. He sighed, his head felt heavy from the effects from the fever. He held back a groan as he sat up. He noticed Al come in with some pain pills and a glass of water. Al set them by the table. "Nii-san if you’re sick, you shouldn't push yourself." Edward sighed, and swallowed the pills. He laid back down and closed his eyes. "Aru, I'm sorry. I'm always so useless like this. Wake me in an hour or two. We still need to report to the south base in this town." Edward said as he fell back to sleep.
Edward woke up about two hours later by the sound of his brother voice, asking if he wanted to sleep a while longer. Edward felt a little better, but he could still tell that he had a fever. "No, Aru, I'm fine. Let me get dress." His little brother nodded and left the bedroom. Edward got dressed into his usual wear, black leather pants, black tang top, black topcoat, and a red coat. He got on his boots and slipped his silver watch into his pocket.
He and Al left the inn and started walking down the street. The cool air felt good against his hot forehead and cheeks. It was in the late afternoon, and nearly dark due to the change in seasons. The street lamps flickered to life as Ed and Al reached the base. "I'll go in, no need for you too, Aru. Wait for me, here. " Edward said to his brother, smiling, but felt his headache returning. Edward entered the building. Al sat on the stairs in front of the base.
Alphonse jumped an hour later as he saw several lights explode from the building and it collapsed.
"Nii-san!!"
Now you look into my world.
Notice the difference,
from me to you.
Prologue Part Two
She petted the little kitten on her lap and sigh as she watched the land go by as she sat on the train. She always loved watching the land go by. The kitten purred on her lap. Soon she noticed that the train started to slow down and pull into a small village. Her blonde shined in the sun, she lightly tapped the little kitten. "Al, come on, get up!" The blonde cheerfully demanded. The kitten let out a small yawn, and looked up at the blonde. "Nee-san, are we there?" The blonde smiled, "Yup." The blonde picked up the small yellow-golden kitten. The kitten's eyes were a bronze brown color, which was unusual for a cat.
The girl was only about 4' 10" and on Luna that was short for a girl. The blonde wore black baggie jeans, a red shirt, and a black coat, with a red symbol on the back and front pocket. The girl yawned and felt a little dizzy. She was used to colds, she almost got them monthly. The kitten clung to her shoulder and gave her a worried look. "Nee-san, maybe we should go to an inn? You look like you need some rest." The braid in the blonde's hair that was slightly messed up from the ride shook when she nodded. "Ahh, Aru-chan, your right. Let's look for an Inn."
They left the train station and look at the small town. They easily found a decent inn called Inside Hearts. They entered the inn; the woman at the desk was bitter towards the young blonde girl but gave her a good room nonetheless. The blonde put her 'sister' down and took a golden pocket watch out of her pocket. "I'm going to bed, Aru, Night." The kitten purred in response, already asleep. The blonde smiled and put a small blanket she found over the golden kitten and went to her own room. She put her suitcase near the door.
She fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

She felt even worse when she woke up. She found her sister sleeping next to her. She petted the ball of fuzz and sighed. She stretched and was careful not to disturb the small kitten. She got up and redressed into leather pants and a black tang top, she put on her black coat and put on her high-heeled boots. She put the golden watch into her pocket and hocked it in a belt loop. She was about to leave the room right before her sister latched on to her shoulder. "Nee-san, I'm coming with you! Your sick! Again!"
The blonde sighed. "Alrighto, Aru. " She then opened the door and left the room. She greeted the desk clerk and left the Inn. She noticed that it was late into the afternoon. "Wow. Aru, why didn't you tell me that I slept in this long?!" The blonde started to run down the street worriedly. "Ahhh we're going to miss that meeting!" She rushed into the base with her sister in hand. "About time, Fullmetal!" A man with light brown hair and dark eyes smiled at here and snickered. "Your late, again." The girl made a face at him. "Well at least I'm here!"
The man nodded. "That's always good. I'm glad your here." Then the man noticed the girl cough. "Ahh, your sick again?" The girl glared at the man. "I believe it's none of your business, Colonel Mustang." The man nodded. "Ahh forgive me. That was rude to ask, Hagane no. " The Colonel then smiled. " Well, into the meeting we go." The blonde and Roy entered the room. In the room was a huge Transmutation circle. "Colonel Mustang, Hagane no, welcome to our little party. " a voice a sinister man called out and startled the kitten on the blonde's shoulder. The kitten fell off and meowed quietly. "Aru, get to a safe spot. " The blonde said and the kitten obeyed.
The man smirked. "Hagane no, your going to be my first guinea pig." Then he clapped his hands at the same time the girl did. There was a huge flash of light; the building began to shake violently. "Nee-san! Nee-san!" The kitten called as the man got away. Aru heard her sister scream and then a brighter flash of light blinded her temporarily. She heard the mad man laughter, heard Roy scream and heard a thud of him falling. Then she noticed something that was wrong, she no longer heard her sister.
As I leave my world,
and see yours.
I could care less
about how you think about me.
Our worlds so very different.
