canadian idol - top22
Remember this post I made a while back about knowing someone who tried out for Canadian Idol?
Well, Julie, his mom & my friend, gave me the impression that Derek didn't get a gold ticket. LYING LIAR WHO LIES!!! OK, so the family was contractually bound not to say anything but now I'm pissed that I didn't really watch the last few episodes. There was even a leaked list of the Top22 posted at TWOP and Derek's name didn't even register with me *headdesk* With Idol shows, I don't really start to watch til the Top22 anyway cause I find the audition episodes too full of really bad singers and I have a hard time remembering who's who with all these faces getting only a few minutes of screentime.
I know someone in the Top22!! *squee* The last time I saw Derek was a couple of years ago and wow, he looks completely different!! What a difference between 15 and 17. His band is called Mail Order Bride and their MySpace page is here for those interested.
