This whole trip started with a dinner with Aubrey, a fellow Klainer that I met during TIFF. Aubrey's a teacher and I knew that she was planning a big European vacation over the summer. My trip is done and am back home. My friend is currently in Greece, relaxing in Mykonos.

Those trains! They're so old and go so fast, we were like, how haven't they fallen apart yet? LOL

How did I miss this post?? So fun!!

I was thinking it looked awfully crowded there - makes sense now. The buildings are all so huge and impressive. I really love your Venice pictures. Does the water smell? On old boss visited years and years ago and that was his comment on it.

I was warned too about the water smelling in Venice but I didn't notice anything. Maybe they cleaned up since then (not like the Venetian water is any where near clean though!) or maybe the heat fried my sense of smell :)

Another downside of travelling in July is the amount of tourists. SO MANY PEOPLE. There were lines for everything! In Florence, we decided to get a city pass and even though we calculated that we probably overspent about 12 euros, it was totally worth it cause we skipped so many lines.
