tiff day 3 -- not even toronto's finest could keep us gaspard fans away!
I called it quits early today. Am currently missing the red carpet for Up in the Air but I caught the press conference so it's cool. Besides, I'm getting sick of Clooney LOL Colin Farrell's movie is at the Elgin which is the worst place for fans so I'm skipping that too. My feet need a break, anyway.
Solitary Man. By the time I got to the hotel, my awesome spot from yesterday was already taken. So I saw Michael Douglas go in from across the street. But then a whole bunch of people left and I just snuck myself right back into my spot. Go me!
Up in the Air. This movie is getting really good buzz. Cute exchange between Clooney & fan -- Fan: You're so much better looking in person. George: That's what I keep telling everybody but nobody believes me. You rock, Clooney. I didn't know Jason Bateman was in town so yay for him being there! Plus, Jason Reitman, the director.
Red carpet for The Vintner's Luck. You see Mr Headset in the first pic with Gaspard? He kept telling us to move back, move back. Then a police officer was sent over cause we weren't moving back. Dude, there was FIVE of us. Five. We weren't blocking the sidewalk or anything. Then he comes over and tells us that there won't be any time for autographs cause they're coming in later so they gotta go directly inside for press. Whatever. Ass.
Of course, once the actors arrived, we all raced forward. All 3 of the leads came in the same limo and they paced themselves exiting the car.
Keisha Castle-Hughes. I didn't even recognize her at first when she came out. Now I want to find Whale Rider and watch it again. I remember loving that movie.
GASPARD ULLIEL OMGOMGOMG Totally worth standing in the sun for 90 minutes and disobeying a police officer's orders \o/
Afterwards, a guy mentioned how he saw Gaspard up in Yorkville and he was getting mistaken for Ben Barnes.
I can definitely see the resemblance. It's the hair and the beard.
Day 3 over and resting up for tomorrow as it's shaping up to be a long day. Although, just found out that Oprah & Gayle made a surprise appearance at the Up in the Air premiere. Place must've gone CRAZY.
