A Baby Story!!
On May 11th 2005 at 11:17am Trysten Joseph Edgley was born!! He was 7 lbs and 1 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. He is BEAUTIFUL and has lots of dark brown hair and blue eyes. (they are always blue at first) I think he looks like Joe.
I went in on May 10th at about 7 pm to be induced and They gave me my first med at 8 pm. The way the meds work is that they had to insert a pill inside me and it was supposed to be 3 doses, one every 4 hours and then after that they were supposed to start an IV of pitosin. Well... They gave me one dose of the pill and I went into labor on my own with some light contractions. Then at about 4 am they checked me and I was dialated to a 5. I had slept all the way to a 5!! NICE! Then I went back to sleep and at about 7:30 my doctor came in and broke my water. Then at about 8:30 I was having pretty strong contractions and I requested my epidural, then after I got that it just progressed and at about 10:45 I started pushing! He was turned wrong (face up) and so the doctor said it was as if he were a nine pound baby, it was really hard and I was really scared, They thought they might even have to use a vaccum and it was scarey. Joe cried for me! (he was adorable) But I got lucky and they didnt have to use anything. I only pushed for 20 minutes! He is BEAUTIFUL. Ill post pictures as soon as I can. ( i dont know how)
